Since everybody is hailing the courtâs decision on the consensual homosexual sex,I wonder who opposed it.. Everybody is pointing their guns at rss and bjp..I donât think they had problem with sex,but with marriage.. India has always been land of hypocrites everyone does it but no one admits it.. Why does rss come into picture here?
Where we are heading ? Everybody knows what is natural and right, still few people debate on this issue leaving apart Nation's other main stream unresolved issue which is directly concern with the safe and secure environment for the citizens.
gay and lesbian marriage cannot be considered right of equality. It is basically challenging the nature. Nature has set some harmony. Any deviation from this harmony is what we term as disease. Hence the judgment is quite unfortunate. Their approach may be on the basis of freedom of individual. I am still wondered why it is still not understood as physical or psychological disorder. I hope government will note it seriously
1-Basically, The court has pointed out that Constitution is inconsistent with itself, and , in its interpretation. Same court and some other judges have interpreted it differently. 2-A resolute defendant can appeal against this judgement in the same court- and a different set of judges can reverse this verdict too. 3-How will the law be applied to those minorities who have separate personal laws? 4-"History owes apology to LGBTQ community"....Who is history? Does it mean the historians? Like Romilla Thapar and Irfan Habib ? Have they not hidden the fact that Babar was a homo? That during Turkish and Roman empires in middle ages ,castration of pre puberty boys was not uncommon? 5-Is it true that court wants people to change their mindset? Is it not true that Court's role is to interpret the constitution, and not change peoples' mindsets??????What will they do to those who don't change their mindsets?
