POLICED ACTION ON URBAN NAXALS
by Shrinivaasan Swaminathan on Sep 04, 2018 10:48 PM  | Hide replies

These are your own words."The police will try to strangulate human rights activists illegally, but then human right activists are known to fight back.

We are not worried about that.

We will fight back Constitutionally, legally, politically and factually."

somebody has to finish the maoists .yes?so this is the part of the whole exercise.Even some of the columnists are also under watch.Dont be surprised if u are also netted , so that u can fight from the cell

Courts seem to exist to exonerate influential criminals
by on Sep 04, 2018 06:38 PM

Nothing man made is perfect, not the police, not the army. But then it is an irony that that most imperfect institution in this country has to be accepted as perfect and protected with barbarian laws like contempt of court!

If they do not take any action, they are useless, if they take action, they are inhuman.
In a population of 130 crore population, we need strict laws and book all such rascals who are likely convict, heaven will not fall, if action is taken on them. If they are innocent-will be free.
Yes, we want early detection and action instead of keeping anyone under lense for years.

I agree. Activists are no Gods. They need to be treated like others. Why the hue and cry only when they are arrested? Let them too face the wrath of law like others who violate laws and pose threats. In other cases these very activists shout hoarse why police have not arrested the accused!!!

arrest of activists
by Saurabh Shah on Sep 04, 2018 04:50 PM  | Hide replies

This is always the case. Police persons are too audacious to think themselves above all, and catch hold of anyone they think even without thorough investigations and documents. Just letters, without any criminal evidences does not hold any contempt of law. This means if the police just raises a hand in third degree and actually does not hit , will they themselves put behind bars. They should do it, if they stop the rights of persons. There is no justification to arrest anyone . This act has been totally illegal, as with so many of police acts. they should be thoroughly investigated top to end and stop criminalisation within themselves.

There is threat to only BJP leaders in the country ... now MP CM has claimed that his life is under threat !!! if there is any input, then the concerned law enforcing agencies should have taken appropriate steps ... instead, why the party is going public on this ...
