2019 will pose a big and real challenge
by RAJ on Sep 03, 2018 05:29 PM

I am neither a blind supporter nor anti to present Govt but I believe that they will face a very very tough time in 2019. Any game is won with a strategy and w/o strategy ur chances of failure increases. To win elections u must have 1. Either anti incumbency wave 2. Or ur last visible achievements. Based on point no 2 you highlight your party and win. Here I regret the current Govt is totally in dark. I can count in numerable mistakes and could hardly count on successes. Although I also want them to stay and give a stable Govt but the task is very very tough "NOT BECAUSE OF OPPOSITION But due to own poor strategies" Jai Hind

"The flip side is that to this day, he has not expressed regret for his inability to prevent riots in Gujarat under his watch."

Has he engineered Gujrat riots like congressis did on many occasions. For some of you, it was a genocide in Gujarat. But the then Parliamentary Minister Jaiswal of UPA, stated on the floor of the house that nearly 900 plus musleems died in the aftermath of Godhra train tragedy and nearly 400 hindus. When people from both community died in sizeable number, how could it be termed as a genocide?

Remember, Modi's name was never heard before he took kovere as Gujarat CM. He never had any experience as a Minister in any state. It is said he was an RSS choice. Being absolutely new, he was taken aback by the riot. He requested both his neighbouring states, Maharashtra and MP to send police force to help him. Both these governments ruled by congress refused to help him. He requested Centre government to send forces to control the riots which they did and within 24 hours the riots were under control. What else he could have done under those circumstances?

Irrelevant Analysis ! ! !
by rishi on Sep 03, 2018 03:41 PM

The billion-plus well-wishers of the Nation have fully embraced development-oriented governance over any politics in this Nation which is yet in the process of laying some strong, robust and lasting foundations of our economy and a national infrastructure that would adequately meet the pressures of employment of our present and future generations at par with those in the advanced countries. The intelligent voter knows that hte realisation of this dream of every Indian is possible only in the leadership of an uncompromising Nationalist RSS-Backed-Team-BJP-Led-NDA's ONGOING VISIONARY GOVERNANCE which must complete its job within the next five-yr term of BJP-Led-NDA that the Nation expects....that is by 2024 every Indian can expect to lead a fulfilling and comfortable life.

Modi will win only where things have been pathetic
by Jayaprakash Balan on Sep 03, 2018 12:40 PM  | Hide replies

The huge win for Modi was mainly due to the fact that every Indian was too frustrated and down at the corruption happening under Congress rule and much credit to that win or change should be given to Anna Hazare and team who gave a hope for Indians that change can happen in India and Congress can be thrown out from the power. Ofcourse, after the win, it was Modi's charisma and his progressive attitude and vision and the greed for relentless working to change the situation of India for betterment. But the undefeated spree of Modi and BJP was also due to the fact that Congress was day by day stooping low to the verge of extinction and not learning from mistakes as well no opposition parties had any clear development vision and agenda to give to the people except being anti-Modi and raising communal topics which really made even the poor and the average Indian realise that all opposition parties are good for nothing. However, the catch is that wherever regional or opposition parties are ok in states and have been doing fairly ok, neither Modi nor BJP were unable to unleash their power, because when it comes to state politics, issues and agenda is different than in central. Especially BJP and Modi could score in states where opposition parties have performed badly and corruption ruled like Maharashtra, entire North etc. same situation will continue. Wherever Congress is extinct and no opposition party seems good, Modi will score huge.

Anna hazare's movement became successful, because of large scale participation by RSS elements. Although it was an apolitical movement, seizing the opportunity to down congress, RSS men whole-heartedly participated in that movement.

Yes people were fed with corruption unleased by congress and that was the reason for Modi's success. I would not call it BJP's success as many Indians voted for Modi and not for BJP.

Why 2019 won't be like 2004 for the BJP
by B B Sharma on Sep 03, 2018 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

BJP has already peaked in Hindi belt like UP , MP, Rajasthan, Gujarat & Maharashtra, so there is no further space for improvement. There is general discontent among the masses due to rising petrol prices, unemployment, farmers unrest & so on .Due to ego & arrogance of BJP , theNDA partners feel cheated & neglected . Shiv Sena , TDP, PDP have already deserted & JDU , Akali Dal are grumbling in discontent.
So over all it presents a very glooming picture for BJP in 2019 & in all probabilities expecting a hung parliament.
So in that event , a more acceptable face like Gadkeri or Sushma Swaraj may emerge as leader.

There are more chances of losing BJP in Bihar, Rajasthan, MP, Jarkhand , Haryana and Karnataka where they have 90 seats. And Certain extent in Maharashtra & Gujarat (48 seats).

Anti incumbency will play a role in Chatttisgarh, UP & Orissa (BJP 81 & BJD 19) subject to opposition's alliance.

They cannot add any in TN, AP, Telengana and Kerala further. Chances for anti incumbency may play a role in favour of BJP in WB but depends on alliance.

I am not a political supporter, but predict that BJP will win 314 seat alone and with allies 368 seat. There will no mahagathabandhan. Even Mahaghathbandhan will loose some seat, because their agenda is anti-Modi means anti-Nation. Public know their entention for Mahaghathbandhan formation.

Whether Mr P Chidambaram has been charged under corruption? Charges were made agst exercising powers - to be proved. Other charges made agst his family are by IT dept- only when illegal transfer of funds without govt permission (for purchasing two properties abroad) is proved only they are liable. Till such time it is mere political allegation only.
