There is no scope for negotiation with Patel. Nehru did get very long time and he was totally exposed. He betrayed with Netaji by not disclosing his whereabouts. Nehru is suspected behind the conspiracy of death of Syama Prasad Mukherjee. There are many national issues kept burning by Nehru. In short he did more wrong thing that damaged Indian interest. When thousands things were done for Nehru, no one mentioned a single word about Patel, but now one statue erection of Patel should not make any one mad.
has much in them to claim such legacies as those of Sardar Patel or Nehru.
One is a big time thief who has become PM solely on the strength of his exceptional ability to bray out hyndu.....muxlim....hyndu....muxlim... and fool North Indian commoners.

Foolish indians for selfish reasons have been saluting gandhis nehrus for last 70 years. Time has come to salute more deserving persons in long history of bharatvarsh. Lollipop politics has made only few people heroes in India who benifited from them
Had our nation got Sardar as our PM, the scenario of this great nation would have been different. This statement is not based on any bias but only on facts. The acts of Nehru of dividing India, creating POK, and many more anti India and pro PAK acts of Nehru are deplorable and deserve only hates. What is his contribution in freedom fight? They have been only falsely glorified by themselves and other predecessors of Congress. Had Sardar followed the advise of Nehru then today we would have to take Visa to visit Hydrabad or any other states.

Both Nehru and patel were great and did great jobs, one in inegrating India and other in planning for Indias development and execution of those good schemes. Your thinking is just narrow like that of Modi and is not worthyof praise. Donot try to limit Patel to one state . He was a national leader and whole nation respects his works.

Gandhiji was not a fool to have nominated Nehru as the PM, as he knew very well that Muslims would feel uneasy under Patel. Contrary to the current propaganda, Nehru and Patel worked harmoniously each in his own domain. This was a fact confirmed by Patel himself.

The RSS now has the government, but it still presents a clear and present danger to the original idea of India, as an inclusive, egalitarian nation united by a Constitution and a shared purpose.
Modi has invested hugely in creating the illusion that the Congress party's preferred leader was the Sardar and that Nehru was imposed on it. BJP`s fragmented assimilation of Patel may or may not bring electrol dividends to BJP but united India could not have done without both Nehru & Patel Having no leader of its own & never participated in freedom struggle rather were complacent with British Rulers , BJP raided the congress repository of HEROES to change the narrative.

BJP should stop the accusations of Congress, a party which sacrified a lot and won freedom for country. A country which was importing foodgrains in 1947 for 30 crore population is now in aposition to export foodgrains after feeding 130 crore people. This is one example which the present Govt does not understand.

The writer lost it when he stated - The project began in December 2013, and is probably the only achievement the Modi government has to show.
Just shows his hatred for Modi. Also comparing Rahul & Modi to Nehru & Patel is incorrect due to 2 reasons - 1. they are not in the same party. 2. these are different times. Most of the indians at that time were incorrupt, hard working and did not use swear words. Can we say that is true today. So stop comparing!!

Someone in BJP asked Rahul, who is bigger Patel or Your Dadi. What a cheap statement. Patel was the Iron Man of India in his time and Indira was the Iron Lady. Can Modi be bigger than Indira? NO. Indira cut off East Pak from World maps but Modi is doing chest thumping for a measly Surgical Strike(SIC)
