It is evident BJP/RSS have fanatical elements within their cadres no better than the jihadis.The biological process of "menstruation' of ejecting blood from female body have been considered as impure or dirty as customs which have no scientific basis.Such old customs have to change.After all blood is constituted of fundamental particles or corpuscles those sustain life. How can they be dirty ? In fact blood is cleaner than other two items human body ejects which are certainly dirtier vis-a-vis blood. These two organic material are present in any body when he or she visits any temple and people have no problem with that!Somehow semi literate gullible people especially women are being hoodwinked by vested interest to serve their own interest and mislead in believing wrong practices that have crept into religion as faith over the yrs that must change.It is time politicians practice value based politics and not piggyback superstition and religious passion to power.

There is no scientific basis for worshipping Lord Ayyappa or going for pilgrimage. Such customs have to change also. Don't send women on pilgrimage or make them enter temple. In fact The Judge can be removed for "Not promoting Scientific Temper", endorcing worship, and directing the state to enforce un-scientific temper.

Frustration at not being able to quote even a single extract from any Tantric text or from the recorded history of Sabarimala temple that gives Tantric legitimacy to this 27 year *tradition* of barring women of child bearing age has now led such ignoramuses as Mohan Das and Rahul Eswar to incite an attack on Sandeepananda Giris ashram and set it on fire !!
Unfortunately for these dumb men of the parivar, the attack on the ashram has now become the subject of intense debate among common Keralites and TV channels, sensing where public focus lay, have been dissecting the attack as well as the speeches of incitement by those dumb parivar men !
