Corruption reaching the top echelon of CBI does nogt bode well for the democratic system of India. CBI is created by the centre inching into state's powers and weakening the federal system and is now made a supere cop the authority which the constituion does not provide. Even within CBI, the appoitment of a tainted officer as Special Director having liks with particular party is dangerous. It is no doubt thagt CBI has been used to subdue political bigwigs like Lalu and Mayawati unethically and illegally. The states must take up the case of CBI in their meetings with the centre and ask for its disposal if they want true demicratic and federal structure is to be maintained.
As usual , the site supports one who seems to be Congress sided ... So i think the other one should be better .. Alok seems to be dragging all the Congress cases and taking kickbacks .. On other side i dont find Astana also to be good , seems BJP intentionally kept him to keep a tap on the different cases ..
We all know re*f is a paid channel of the anti-national papal-ISI-Chinese mafia. So it is not at all surprising it is taking sides using silly observations and innuendoes against an officer that is probing Chiddu and Lalloos and Pappu's favorite Moein Quereshi.
It is a gang of extortionists and dalals. They fix deals for politicians and rich businessmen. when people like modi dont need them they get them fixed on charges which will take years to prove. Bribery is a charge that is not easily proven anywhere....the trail of money is never accounted for.

Now that some CBI officers are exposed, there should be some guidelines as to stop officers of these institutions to contest elections after the retirement. It seems Asthana is pro BJP and Verma is pro Congress. Now openly showing their inclination or their true colours. This will also set a bad precedent for other govt. employees as now every one even a clerk grade employee is openly showing it's political inclination in social media and all.
Modi's 2002 riots where his major achivement in his political carrer. He was totally unknown in BJP but 2002 organised pogrom catapaulated him to top BJP leadership.
During this journey few of his freinds support him in 2002 crimes & sins and Asthana is one of them. Asthana in polce and other guy RK Raghavan who is noew ambassdor to Cyprus, being an IPS officer and not IFS as is the case for foreign postings.
This guy overlooked all evidences which were against Modi during his stint as SIT chief while he was doing his "investigation" of Modi's invovlment of 2002 killings. As expected, Modi was cleared of any involment and was clean of all sins as if he was an angel from heavens, which in turned cleared his way for the top post in the country.
Now it is the time to payback for all the faithful, through all means, legal or illegal, all orders has to by obeyed even of they are against customs or any norms.

Unfortunate thugs like you created 2002 riot and trying to blame Modi. What caused riot was organised killing of innocent rambakth in a bogie killing more than 90 . Naturally as retaliation their loving took revenge on another 1000 innocent families. Had the Govt in centre during Babar Majid demolition, taken right decision both could hv been avoided. But,, they did not and tried to corner Modu after creating riot, because, they wanted to use it as a political tool to bring down BJP-LED government. It is & was Crook congress leaders. Honest congress men are dead in 1970.

ASSSSSSSTHANA, HAS BENT ENOUGH, TO THE CHAIWALA, HE IS BEING REWARDED EVEN AFTER HE IS KNOWN TO BE A CROOK NO 1.
1. All important cases like Mallya,CXhidambaram,Lalu and other political cases are dragging...obvious the blame by Asthana that Verma is dragging seems true. 2.Asthana first complained to CVC about Verma delaying the important cases...so Verma seems to be at fault.. 3. Verma is a old horse int he politicaltrading...so seems like he is trying to please his old bosses 4.Previous CBI bosses all tried to please political bosses and even met accused in in their home and took bribes.So verma being old hand is certainly under suspicion.. Let CVC investigation bring out the truth fast
