It is very easy to pass on the blame onto others. However, the questions are:
1) Did West Bengal government make proper survey before making Santragachi such an important station, where-from all parts of the state are connected today?
2) Did WB government force the Railways to build more FOBs considering the growing crowd there?
3) Did Mamata Banerjee make any attempt to improve the station when she was Railway Minister?
4) Where is the last Safety audit report of the station, which has been gaining more and more importance over the last five or six years?

This story starts at Kharagpur over bridge, in the month of February when myself along with my family stuck in the same situation and feel the scarcity of the moment.
I will blame completely to the SERly, Administrative authority as they are not doing their duty properly. Last time Chief Commercial Officer give a written apology on the account of Kharagpur incident but still Santragachi happend

A very apt question. Didi is being wise after the incident. What she would have done if she was the rly minister which in fact she was?
1. Railways do not require to take accident insurance but all other vehicles in India insurance is compulsory. 2. Railways do not require pollution certificate for trains. 3. Drivers are not required to produce driving licence for driving trains. 4. It is fault of people when trains run late and due to it people have to wait at manned crossings and unmanned crossings putting a risk to their lives. 5. If people di due to Railway bridge falling or some faulty equipment it if mistake of people why they travel in trains. 6. If children di when drivers cross unmanned crossings it is fault of children why they are going to school. 7. Had these people taken responsibility our country would have been safer like other countries which have security systems installed. 8. The bullet train money can be better utilised for improving Railways safety rather than again blaming people for using the bullet train in future
