Whose Fault?
by biren maur on Nov 01, 2018 03:52 PM

Whose fault? Those who were on the railway tracks.... Railway tracks are plying of trains. All those who met with accident should be charged for negligence... What would be the fault of those travelling if the train would have got derailed and passengers killed?

If it had been elevated the tragedy would have been more as people would have climbed for vantage position to view the celebrations. It is the lackacidal attitude of the public taking easy anything and everything and violate the rules and regulations left and right cause of most of the problems. It starts right from simple signal violation - violating without the knowledge that you are encroaching an area cleared for another set of people. Are you going to blame the state and central governments for this...We have to change basically to get our country take off on the development path..

Why blame the Railways.
by Raghunandanan on Oct 23, 2018 10:18 AM

In-disciplined and arrogant people who has no respect for the rules, go and stand on rail tracks are at fault. How Train Driver can expect a crown standing on the rail ? It is sheer nonsense to blame the railways. Further why the local administration gave permission to such events near railway tracks. Are they nuts ?

Tragic Accident
by LagerMaschinen on Oct 22, 2018 09:30 PM

The Railways should take precautionary measures so that such type of accident does not repeat in future. I opine department of railways are always reluctant about the safety and security of the passengers.

by BP Mohanta on Oct 22, 2018 12:38 PM

people should obey the law . first tell to stand on railway track is a lawful work ? whatever the number one or one lac . if one people did a illegal work that that illegal and if one lac people did illegal work that means that legal that is not sure . so people should do any work with safety and maintain law then that type incident could be avoided .

Poor crowd management.
by vimal s kumar on Oct 22, 2018 12:21 PM

Crowd management is poor throughout in India. Organizers and authorities who supported this event should be jailed without any second thought. Railways should also learn something with this kind of incident to see how they can also avoid this mishap in future. Our deep condolence to all the victim family and friends, RIP.
