We are in an era, where capitalism has lost all the positives, like increasing productivity, productive forces, claiming to give equal rights to all the citizens, support a rational society, erase all forms of discrimination based on religion, caste, creed, nationality, gender, region, colour, etc! In fact capitalism is rotten & violent and is moribund, diseased and awaiting burial, but surviving on cost of the working class & hindrance of all forms of social, economic, political development! In fact, after feudalism was defeated & capitalism conquered the Earth widely, it started in opposite direction of what it promised for! In India, its fascism, another form of capitalism, but most rotten and violent! The tools of fascism is not merely state & its departments, erstwhile pillars of democracy but a section of the population, who are lured through money, backward ideology, like religion, old culture, national chauvinism! That is what exactly we are witnessing! It can not be defeated through normal legal, election process but only through mass revolution!

While your observations are right, there is no better system in sight. The same can be said about democracy - only thugs and rowdies can become ministers in the current form of democracy. Here again, we do not have a better system - perhaps we should have Democracy Version 2 and free market Version 2.

Any alternative system which has delivered? I don't know of any.
Many people want to be in limelight just by criticizing Hindu rituals or traditions, temple architecture, because as per their views Indian Constitution has given them the rights to do so. It is their view of interpretation. Ultimately court decides.
