Its complete ignorance of railway administration. As they are the controlling authority of their business, Huge staff have been allotted by the authority to them. Mob is having mob mentality . But administration has to follow the duties. Its real face of bureaucracy.
......typical colonial mentality of Punjab administration with the coming of congress.....no one seems to be interested in checking every little detail before allowing their own representatives to make a festive event turn so tragic.....should congress not have checked all the details before allowing navjot kaur sidhu to (dis)grace the occasion of hindus-celebration and let it turn so tragic . Congress wiill have a lot of questions to answer now....congress can not be allowed to treat Punjab as its colony to go through such neglect of its people while the party plays dynastic-politics instead of making the entoire addmionistration start serving the people as it is happening in the rest of the country.....congress politicians they can get away with any amount of arrogance of mockery of the Nation ! NDA should take it very seriously....not just the loss of lives in the accident but the loss of administrative sensitivities in the short span of time that congres has come to power in punjab.

Exactly, how can people go and stand over the track?Its a railway track.Unfortunately in our country lack of common sense prevail all around. And with election round the corner different political parties will make a political issue out of it.

Condolences to the family of those dead. But the simple question is what on earth were people thinking when they stood on a live, functional railway track on which trains run regularly?????

Agree that it is a VERY VERY TRAGIC and SAD thing.
Also agree that it is the fault of the track trespassers. Poor innocent children don't who were with their parent can't be blamed, but every adult who trespasses onto railway track should bear full responsibility for consequences, however tragic they be.
