Modi and Statues etc.
by daniel thorat on Oct 13, 2018 03:23 PM  | Hide replies

It is and will be a waste of good money of the people. Modi ought to have reasoned that the first Home Minister of India was no match for the first Prime Minister of India. He needs to accept these truths honestly. Naming it the Unity statue is in actual fact a major step in dividing the country.

When it came to electing the first prime ministerial candidate, Sardar Patel was voted by the Pradesh Congress Committees by an overwhelming majority of 15:3. Again, those 3 votes were not in favour of Nehru but were abstentions. Having secured 0 votes, Nehru should have sportingly stepped out of the fray, but went and whined before Gandhi who forced the Congress Pradesh committees and the hapless people of India to accept a worthless Nehru as PM. And that's how Gandhi and Nehru conspired to deny the nation a clean administration and a strong and united India. What we got was a loser who surrendered vast Indian territories to Pak and China, and a cancerous Nehru-Gandhi dynasty that fed on the blood of the nation.

Modi failed to build Ram Temple , he was only interested in his state people, hence built Sardar's statue. Ram is required only for votes.

Rs 2,389 crore is a huge amount spent on Construction of the statue dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. There is already statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Delhi and on his name a Patel Chowk near Parliament street. This substantial money could have spent on a Charitable Hospital or Educational Institute in his name where unprivileged people could have treated /educated as lot of people are deprived of medical / education aid in a poor country like India.

Most of unemployed people could have also absorbed in such institution.

As usual Modi will scream out an election speech, twisting and turning half truths and non-facts to tell people how he is a patriot and all others who have made great, unsurpassed sacrifices are no good. But perhaps people will see through all that. Again, it would be a waste.

why you dont have any objections for huge amount spent for the merorials and others for Nehru and gandhis ? You have objections only when the memorials built for Sardar or Bose ?
