Why is there a discrimination
by b g on Oct 17, 2018 07:09 PM  | Hide replies

Why has there been a discrimination. Please look at the history. Iyappa temples around the country allow women to enter them then why not at Sabrimala. It all depends on women if they need to enter it or not. To say that the court's judgement is flawed itself a flaw. I would like Sankrant to do more research and not give hypothetical statements. Discrimination of women judge and male judge is not acceptable based on your argument. The order of the court has to be respected by all who live in this country.

It is like one can enter PA's office without appointment or permission, but not to his boss without appointment/permission..we should respect ones belief and faith...if people lose both of this, then one day only ANARCHY HUMANS WILL LIVE IN THIS WORLD...

Regarding the women entry

Women wherever if we observe they don't enter into the temples when they are having menstrual cycle. Even muslim women still now they are not entering into the masjids at any occasions. But after completion of menopause or before occurance of menopause the women above 60 years and the girls of age below 9 years are eligible to enter into SABARIMALA. By taking the 41 days deeksha they can enter. Without knowing all the parameters THE STUPID SUPREME COURT HAS GIVEN THE WORST JUDGEMENT REGARDING THE WOMEN AS IT IS AN UNTOUCHABILITY. THE JUDGES ARE STUPID FELLOWS

In the name of Dharma, one can ignore verdict of Supreme court to obey verdict of High court. It’s all bloody vote game. Prior to 1991 when the Kerala High Court forbade the entry of women to Sabarimala, several women had visited the temple, although mostly for non-religious reasons. Women pilgrims would visit the temple to conduct the first rice-feeding ceremony of their children (Chorroonu) in the temple premises. On May 13, 1940, even the Maharani of Tranvancore is recorded to have visited the temple. In 1986, when young actresses Jayasree, Sudha Chandran, Anu, Vadivukkarasi and Manorama danced near the deity at the pathinettam padi (18 steps) for the Tamil movie named Nambinor Keduvathillai, a fine of Rs. 1000 each was imposed on the actresses and the director of the movie. The Dewaswom Board, the board in charge of the maintenance of the temple and premises was also fined Rs. 7500, because it had given the director permission to film at Sabarimala. Former Karnataka minister Jayamala has also claimed to have entered Sabarimala and touched the idol in 1986. In 1990, the rice feeding ceremony of the granddaughter of the former Dewaswom commissioner was held at Sabarimala in the presence of women relatives. Following a court case in connection with this event, the high court of Kerala prohibited the entry of women between 10 and 50 years of age to Sabarimala. In 1995, the then district collector Valsala Kumari visited Sabarimala to get firsthand information about the

It is only a FLAW not a judgement.

Against the faith and belief system of an entire religious group.

Women who are so PIOUS on lord IYAPPA, let them visit many other IYAPPA temples, but not SABARIMALA.

Don't need ultra's to teach us rituals and faith and belief.
