Good job done, sir, instead of blaming for lack of manpower as like your predecessor you at least put your best. Except "Aadhar" I liked your all above judgments.

Shamed us
by Soumitra Goswami on Oct 01, 2018 03:55 PM

He had corruption charges before adorning CJI but when his own distinguished colleague accused his deviation from best practise he should have resigned. For me he has met all expectation of his political masters but shamed us for who he was the highest non-political appointee.

Justice Mishra has set a good precedence allowing new way of life. Within a year in office has done really well.
Unfortunately and god knows on whose order he was maligned and branded as the judge of the rulers .

Wish the Ayodhya and Kashmir issue also gets resolved.
by Jayaprakash Balan on Oct 01, 2018 02:29 PM

He is really done a great work for generations of Indians by taking some crucial decisions. Wish the issue of Ayodhya and Kashmire also gets solved before he retires because these are the most crucial things which has been plaguing India since decades and decades and which doesn't allow India to progress. Wonder why the decision of women entering any religious shrine is restricted only to Sabarimala and not a general decision across any religion and community. Such a general decision was needed as one step to help empowerment of women and give them equal rights. Also wondering why the entire country including SC's attention doesn't go to the point of population growth which the most main important thing stopping development of the country as well spreading of inequality across all spheres of India. Can SC be kind enough to help us in this regard too.

Farewell CJI Mr.Dipak Misra
by Shrinath Pillai on Oct 01, 2018 02:22 PM

I have never understood why people ending their tenure at various designations may a rush to conclude on issues or matters. The sabarimala verdict defenitely not appreciable coz entry for women has never been prohibited at sabarimala but only for women between a age group where women have their menstural cycle and during the same as per rituals going to sabarimala is prohibited and even women of our country know and respect the same specially in south. As for north east and west dont blame them as they are not aware of the deity and the rituals and same is not against women. The doors of Sabarimal is opened to all but respect and worship with all pious feeling and shuddhi and do not visit just to claim any EGO.

Just the spirit of 21st century confined within entry in temple? Remember till now (21st century) reservation is in vogue on the basis of caste. Is it permissible in the light of spirit of 21st century?

Provided that women can stay in the same crunched que's which leads to sabarimala during pilgrim season wherein its so crunched that you'll not find space even to have a stretch.By the way DSn have you been to sabarimala during the vrichigam staring or mandalam time

It is held that all matters pertaining to an individual do not qualify as being an inherent part of right to privacy. Only those matters over which there would be a reasonable expectation of privacy are protected by Article 21."- What is the parameter to qualify which is inherent part of right to privacy or not?

Doing things which are popular but not necessarily right
by vineet bharti on Oct 01, 2018 01:53 PM  | Hide replies

Scrapping of Adultery was done in haste and without applying mind. Now an adulterous wife can openly sleep with her partner in presence of husband and all the man could do is file divorce(if not harassed further by DV/498A etc.). Also no guidance given by top judge on issues like compensation to the cheated spouse and maintenance(There are judgements stating "Is living in adultery" is only to be considered, not "was living in adultery"). Same court has allowed compensation to adulterous wives as well. Best to get out of this country. #NoFaithInJudiciary
