I request that any /and every politician /or political party ,which promises general loan waiver should be BANNED. Healthy and financially strong banks are essential for the economy. Loan waiver scheme threatens the existence of banks and thereby endangering the entire economy. Not only that, it is creating a serious discontent /anger amongst the honest tax paying citizens. Further,like the reservation /quota/ demand, loan waiver would be demanded by all strata of the society.things would just go out of control

Then what about the defaulters less than 1% of borrowers who have about more than 70% total of NPA a/cs. Normally Banks used to give waiver or write of 1-2% on extreme circumstances like Drought, flood, fire, famine etc. If waiver is allowed by Govt, they have to make good the amount to banks. To some waiving of interest partially or waiver of overdue interest or charging simple interest or lesser interest etc used to be considered by Bankers so that banks could utilise those irrecoverable funds for further lending to others.
This is not isan ral. It is commies sposnored rally. Only they ar egood in organising such rallies. Only the question how they get funds to organize all these things- may be fake notes, may be looted mney, may be hawala moneyy, may be money looted from workers in unionised workrsers..
