What is the benefit in converting this tribes numbering less than 50 who were being discarded by the civilized society till date, while many were like this before a century or two.

There can't be called pilgrims, they ought to be diagnosed by psychiatrists!!
I sincerely feel that for the sake of a corpse of a unscrupulous person who broke every rule to land there, we should not disturb the oldest tribe in world history. Was he acting on his own or under someone's instructions. There must be something more than that meets the eye. Let the Island & tribe be undisturbed..

YES!! He was a fool who committed senseless suicide...
He broke the Indian law He broke the law of sentinalese land His intentions were wrong and unethical - conversion He was warned (shot at) a day before, but he went again The sentinalese gave him an opportunity to live, he didnt take it
I say the sentinalese were more civilised than John. They warned him and let him go, but he was more interested in conversion

Sentinalese are not Indian as they do not follow Indian rule or constitution. They will kill any Indian going there.
Tribals have their own faith systems whom people in India term them as hindus!!!

Boss, hindus! are also a tribal faith; I am not demeaning the system I am actually glorifying it
I OBJECT TO "INDIAN TOURIST". Andaman and Nicobar is a part of India. The word appears to give a sense that we are foreigners to island. The privacy of all tribes should be maintained.

Hello Nikhil, He meant, outsider to A&N as tourister. And tribal tourism is thriving becuase, Indian tourist want to see bare breasts. I dont see wrong in what he said, being an Indian.
