Govt is anti Ayyappa ?
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Nov 23, 2018 07:07 PM

Quite foolish of the ex MInister to say this. When it comes to an issue between the SC and any religious belief, in a modern democracy, the SC must remain supreme. The Kerala Govt is not involved.

of the BJP and RSS imagined all too easily that common Keralites would flock over and vote for the BJP after hearing loud religious chants as the worlds stuxpidest commoners (a large segment of North Indians) routinely do !

Its only pure politics

Not a supporter of CPM, but the Sabarimala issue is now a purely political issue and so everybody is playing politics on one hand and on the other hand devotees are going, praying and coming back. The flame is only kept alive by politicians and some organisations like NSS in the name of representing Hindus scared that their importance in the society will be lost. Else, actually there is no necessary for Nair Samajam to jump into this issue at all. The eager protestors have also used the shawdow of BJP/ RSS and NSS thinking that it will work. If all the devotees are really worried about women climbing Sabarimala, not a single devotee should have offered prayers there and the entire Sabarimala should have been shut with only the priests offering pujas and then wait for the final SC hearing on review petition. Anyway, its for sure that with the Central Govt. being able to influence the SC, the decision will be in favour of the devotees not to allow women. So, its good either way. If the decision goes in support of devotees, the issue will be solved once and for all and if by 1% the decision goes against devotees and if they are not ready for any prolonged protest against the Supreme Court, it will be again good

The bottom line is that the BJP and the RSS are now finding that their high expenditure campaign at Sabarimala to convert the issue of entry for young women into an emotive tool for increasing their vote share from 10.4 percent in Kerala to 20 percent and above is petering out tamely !

Their north Indian bosses, in their foolishness, assumed too easily that common Keralites would flock over to their fold after hearing religious chants as the worlds stuxpidest people (North Indian commoners) do !

The bottom of the line is that the state government in the state never expected such a huge protest from the devotees, people of Kerala and specially ladies who respected the very old tradition and are not willing to break the traditions before visiting temple before certain age. The government and police tried their best to see that some women are allowed to enter the temple but failed miserably in their mission. Abe kaliye, ifnyou dont believe in any religion, why you are bothered about such incidents ? You go on counting vote share of other parties but conveniently forget to count vote share of the party you blindly support of all India level as they are being rejected almost everywhere. BJP and the north Indian has shown they can visit Kerala, people like Mohan bhagewat can hoist Indian flag there without even permission of Collector, Amit Shah and hundreds of student of ABVP can visit there freely and none of the commie goons had any guts and courage to cause any harm to them

Vijayan did not use the police to suppress genuine Ayappa devotees.

He has done so only to stop the paid criminals of the RSxS / BJP who came to Sabarimala during the Thulaxmasa pooxja and also during the Chittxira Atxta Tirunal dressed up as Ayappa devotees and attacked pressmen, the police and regular devotees, abuxsed them in vulxgar language, raised their munxdus (dhoxtis) at them in an obsxcene way, threw stones and ghee coconuts at the 52 year old Latika who came for her grandsons chorxoonu, went up and down the 18 steps with their backs turned towards the deity (in flagrant violation of tradition) and kept using the Saranam Ayappa chant as a political slogan !

Read news reports and watch CCTV grabs about these incidents. Many media houses have reported them.

Stop fooling yourself!

Oye eve3r stinking kaliye, have you visited Sabrimal recently and seen the difficulties faced by devotees who has no proper sanitation, food arrangement and has to face wrath of police force who are working as per the instruction of state. The state is more interested in allowing women to the temple at any cost and concentrate using police protection for such women who are not real devotees but who are just want some lime light. government. The real devotees are getting very rough and indifferent treatment for the first time in this state.
