Neat and deft handling !
by piri on Nov 18, 2018 11:19 AM  | Hide replies

If matters go on like this for at least one week into the Mandalapooja Makaravilakku season (with the govt neither making any move to actively usher in women to the Sabarimala temple nor giving any reason for anyone to claim that it is in contempt of court), the komaaaali party (BJP) would be forced to begin wondering whether the little wind that it imagined had been blowing into its sails was taken away !

If matters go on in this manner (without any violence), the BJP would be forced to wonder what it would talk to the Kerala voters about for the May 2019 LS election !

After all, the BJP cant even imagine trying to talk about komaaaaali Modis governance and corruption record at the centre during the last 5 years, can it ?

sabarimala
by chakravarthy v on Nov 18, 2018 10:41 AM

If she claims to be women activist let her do some other thins which are more beneficial to the womenkind. Ofcourse they may not offer the kind of publicity and media glare.

The sabarimala is not going to give any mileage to her. As it is no oppression against women at all.

If she is really interested in uplifting of women, as her to try the following,

1. lot of women in the slums are illeterates, ask her to go these places and teach them.
2. These slum dwellers must be advised to educate their children so that their daily life will improve.
3. All these must be working as servant maids in their localities, form them in to an association and help them to find servant jobs in near by localities.
4. This will improve their credibility and sustained income.
5. All these servant maids have family issues with their husbands which can be solved by little counselling. Take that job and bring cheer in their faces.

These are some of things she can take up.

I am not finding time to do all these things at my current age.

These are some of the constructive things to develop women in this country but not highly politically involved temples or gods

Nagaraju AV
Trupti Desai and her mission
by Nagaraju AV on Nov 18, 2018 10:36 AM

I wonder why the Kerala Government and Police should provide security to Trupti Desai, who has her own agenda and mission to complete. Government sources are needed to serve the welfare of general public and not individuals who try to make any issue to big and be in limelight. Let Ms. Desai make her own arrangement to visit the shrine without disturbing the local order or wait till she completes the age of 50 years, perform all the rituals including dress code, to join the devotees.

The Kerala govt played it cool....
by piri on Nov 18, 2018 09:59 AM  | Hide replies

....it neither submitted a review petition in the SC (as BJP and Congress leaders in Kerala were stridently demanding) nor obliged the BJP by forcibly taking these women to Sabarimala and giving it a reason to cause violence at the temple as it badly wants !

Talk of taking the wind out of the BJPs sails !

If matters remain the same for a few days more, the desperate BJP can be expected to resort to one of its usual tricks - running with the hare and then secretly hunting with the hound by paying someone to file a contempt of court petition against the Kerala govt for not showing any urgency to implement the SC verdict !!

The BJP in Kerala, like in every other state, is desperate !

It knows it badly needs diversionary topics to escape from having to be apologetical about Modis horrendous governance record when the time to campaign for the LS election arrives !
