Tatas should not sponsor such seminars
by pranab banerjee on Nov 19, 2018 08:56 AM  | Hide replies

It will get involved in controversies.
Indians holds TATAS in high esteem because it has always projected the culture and civilization of India.
These fellows that you see on the dias have no takers.
They talk without in-depth knowledge in the subject, are perverse and rejected by their own class and bent upon creating divisions.
As I have said Hindutva philosophy goes beyond all religions.
It does not talk of blasphemy and heresy.
It is not a rigid dogmatic belief system that has to conform to a 'book'.
It is a way of Life.

Mr.Ratan Tata,
should take a note of this.
Dharkar does not seem to be a Tata man. I recognize because I am myself a three generation Tata man.
It will affect your employees .

Hinduism bashing is the flavor of the year!
by Venkatesa Prabhu on Nov 18, 2018 06:36 PM

It has been the flavor of the last few decades and I guess it will continue, so long as we have people like Romila Thapar, Arundhathi Roy et al. But Hinduism has survived several onslaughts from Mughals and later the British and I guess it will continue to survive, regardless of these highly intelligent and intellectual people

Remarkable!
by Venkatesa Prabhu on Nov 18, 2018 06:34 PM  | Hide replies

Four people, each of them highly regarded in their own industry perhaps, have come together to discuss a subject they know very little about. What a pity! Such is the estimation of their own knowledge that they think they are "know it all". Blind men trying to decipher an elephant or understand a rose!

You should read Pavan Varma's book on Adi Shankaracharya. Then comment on whether he knows about Hinduism or not.

They were discussing what it means in practice, not merely what dictionaries say.
