Brutal Majority - Shashi Tharur
by Rajesh Parikh on Nov 17, 2018 02:32 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Tharur should look with in his party

1. Can any one has courage to think of any body's name as president of party. Only Nehru/Gandhi family member can become President.
2. What congress was doing in Nehru's time with much overwhelming majority then what Modi has got?
3. In case of Indira Gandhi it was worst then Nehru.
4. Has Tharur moral right to criticize Modi?

5. Tharur thinks that 90% Indian are Kettle Class. ( as on only 10% Indian are flying in Business class )

With this thinking how can he want the representative of that 90% to listen to him with empathy?

Present day congress masquerades cong of freedom movement because present day Cong was launched in 1977 by Indira Gandhi while original cong which Nehru represented later merged with Janata party under Morarji Desai.

Elect Wisely, Smartly
by saravana kodandapani on Nov 17, 2018 01:24 PM

If you elect a candidate simply based on the party affiliation,he will be nothing but a rubber stamp.Citizens have to get smart & start electing candidates based on their individual credentials & acheivements & have to look at their independent backgrounds. If 543 independent wise men are elected to parliament, then we will see meaningful discussions, debates and genuine laws being passed in the welfare of the country. Party based parliamentarians will always put party first and pass laws that benefit their own parties like electoral bonds, illegal foreign funding, non appointment of lokpal, raising their own salaries etc.If citizens elect 543 independent wise men, who are not affiliated to any party, we can expect them to be honest, pro people and pro governance as the fear of facing the electorate and reelection would truly work. Parties must function more like NGOs at the higher levels of Assembly/parliament elections. They must work/lobby with these newly elected independent members in framing policies and hope to be rewarded electorally at the grass root level or in corporation/GP elections only where parties can be allowed to contest with their own candidates.Reelections of these independent MLA/MP candidates should not be allowed in the same constituency as their function is not related to developing their own constituency, rather it is related to framing policies that develop the state/nation as a whole. If no such candidate is there on the list,Press NOTA.

The era of deception is over. The ‘deception’ what is called the modern day politics, is over.
There was a proverb that the Brahmin cannot do wrong or can’t go wrong and Sudra (Neech) is always wrong. The century old conception or deception has proved to be over.
The time shows the good side of bad or bad side of good.
While people put faith on Brahmin or upper strata for doing good for them; so long they were mere spectator & watch helplessly that anarchy & savagery prevails all over the places.
Then we have to recall the very old days of Ramayana, where ‘Ratnakar Dacoit’ had converted himself out of morose to ‘Valmiki’, the wise man & creator of Ramayana. What we have seen the contrary to this in the modern India – where Brahmin on mass are thieves & demean their characters over riding the power of politics.

But when Sudra (Modi) came to rescue the people & pull them out of such situation, against whom the politician from the Brahmin or upper strata throw the barb & called him ‘Neech’.

In Indian society there was no de-gradation of upper cast or up-gradation of lower cast. But the democracy what upper cast was ‘preaching’ or using as a weapon to rule the people through deceptive way seems to be dead now with the development of modern day electronics media, where people can see or judge himself, rather than knowing from leaders mouth .

Tharoor can write book, but he can't write impartially
Tharoor is highly literate, but not adequately educated
Tharoor can speak exceedingly well, but cannot leave out highly biased vitriolic
Tharoor correctly points out inadequate durations of parliamentary session, but cannot see the crazy disruptions by opposition parties
Tharoor tries to be a literary writer, but cannot stay away from his highly faulty political ideology...

Tharoor can do anything but he can not do anything without licking the feet of his high command. Without his party, he can not win even a municipal or Gram Panchayat election. He may be thinking himself as the highly intelligent person but has no alternative but has to work as per the advice(?) of an experienced, immature party head and to write and say anything against PM Modi and his government just to please them.

Will Tharoor about what happened during Congress's brute majority
by Rajveer Singh Pawaiya on Nov 16, 2018 04:30 PM  | Hide replies

Tharoor very conveniently forgets what Congress Govt did during its period of governance. His target is only Modi, while Congress took unilateral decisions during its brute majority period in parliament. Shahbano case is just one example of that.

Tharoor's hatred to Modi and his development oriented work and decisions in the national interest are the motivating factors to such anti-Modi Govt writings. These so called intellectuals are bent upon maligning Modi Govt by misusing their skill of word weaving.
