So according to "historian A Sridhara Menon" Tipu & his father Hyder Ali occupied Malabar for reforming the natives there?

Tipu was a typical War-lord of his time. He was fighting with the Zamorins of Calicut, Marathas, Nizams of Hyderabad and of course the English East India Company. He has fighting for protecting and expanding his small Sultanate, which his father usurped from the Wadiyars of Mysore.

I can quote truckloads of books claiming Tajmahal was originally built by a Rajput ruler and appropriated by the Mughals, citing 'very credible' archaeological and historical evidence, all obviously generated by the Sanghi propaganda machinery

Yes, he had to flee from Palghat, tucking tail between the legs, never to return to Kerala till his death. So much for his "bravery"!

I am puzzled some times. Every time Gujarat name is used to refer to the massacre of MUzlims and blame game starts. But what has triggered it was actually massacre of karasevaks returning from ayodya by muzlims which has flared up whole contraversy.

But every one remembers the later but not former. Is is intentional or default.

Anyways, it is past. There is no point in poking that issue again and again. What is important is that how we respect each other now.

Religions should not come in our way. It is only required to marry our son or daughter just to ensure that there is synergy in the living style and easy to accommodate. Beyond that no body should talk about it.

In my personal opinion every religion is great, every caste is great, every sub sect is great. at the same time no religion, caste or sub sect is inferior to any other.

Everyone is proud of their parents and their religion/ cast. So lets respect and give them space. Let us co-exist and have wonderful INDIA under the current able leadership of great people.

Mr Chakravarthi - I concur your views and that is what happening now. But some are instigating speaking of past which are not going to solve our future. Love and respect among outselves could solve and extend peace.

PM got the clean chit. Go get your facts right human.
have you ever tried to find what started godhra?
The burning of a train in Godhra on 27 February 2002, which caused the deaths (burnt alive) of 58 Hindu pilgrims karsevaks returning from Ayodhya, is cited as having instigated the violence.
So who has to be blamed?
