steal big from defence funds (and now such theft has reached gargantuan proportions by routing them through crony businessmen under the garb of defence investments), they become anxious to divert possible attention from the general public by making big platitudes about *brave soldiers*, *supreme sacrifice*, etc !

And it is not whether to believe Rahul or not, is it ?
It is only about why the Modi govt has first announced the price of 36 Rafales as Rs 58000 crores (2015 April), then why Nirmala Sitharaman promised journalists in a press conference in September 2017 to convey the complete price details of the Rafale deal and then why she stood up in Parliament 2 months later to say that the price details cannot be revealed due to a mysterious secrecy clause in the deal that was hitherto unknown to her !
It is about why HAL, with around 50 years of experience in maintaining and manufacturing defence aircraft (including the state of the art Sukhoi 30) and having vast infrastructure in facilities and trained personnel, was suddenly removed from the deal in April 2015 and a novice firm belonging to the heavily debt ridden Anil Ambani group brought in its place !
It is about why the Modi govt has been silent on the jettisoning of its own make in India hype !
And it is about why Modi feels he is above mundane matters such as the Defence Procurement Procedure (which he violated when declaring the purchase when visiting France in 2015)!
Whether Rahul or anyone else talks about these matters is really irrelevant, is it not ?
Grateful to hear that finally our countrymen n government is realising the worth of supreme sacrifice by a soldier from the armed forces. We must do it willingly as we all are safe n secure n also with our family living happily because of such great army/Navyand Airforce. Proud to be a part of it!! Jai Hind Jai Bharat!!
