Tipu Sultan and Bahadur Shah ZAFAR SAcrificed their kingdom .lives and their children for the nation.They could save their Raj,kingdom by hugging and saluting British like other Mharajas but they fought for this nation.It is very sad that we have forgotten these freedom fighters and we oppose their jayanti.

Which Nation? There was no Country called India till 15 August 1947. They were fighting to protect their small Sultanates.

True.. Moghuls were also invaders.. they ruled for 600 years ...British ruled 200 years... Hindustan was neither nation of Moghuls nor Britishers

What was the country called before Mughal Invasion and After Britishers gave us freedom from Moghul rulers.
