Patel was a towering personality & no Indian could grudge erecting a statue to honour this great son of Mother India. But there are many other heroes of freedom struggle & to pick one to honour by building worlds tallest statue is likely to create unnecessary race to build more & more statues of other stalwarts , even bigger statues. Perhaps the motive is more political then otherwise.
What the media,leftists and sickularists miss is that BJP and Modi is reviving the reputation of Patel inspite of him being a Congressman...Does that not show the patriotismm and nationalism of BJP/Modi? Only those su**ers lic**ng the boots of one fake Gandy family will want the nation to forget the tall leaders of Independence of this country..
