Dear Mr.Aakar what happened in Pakistan is on expected lines because the democracy in Pakistan is defined by Army and Fundamentals. India democracy is not controlled by any fundamental group of any perticular religion. So comparing India with Pakistan is rubbish. The very fact is JNU is a laboratory of producing pseudo seculars. The students and professors of JNU feel that they are very highly intellectuals and their thoughts are only better than anyothers. Now Aligarh Muslim University is also following the same path. We don't doubt about achievements of Mr.Ramchandra Guha. If ABVP is opposing his appointment in Ahemdabad than it is the duty of AU and Gujrat Government to tackle the issue. Any group opposing Mr.Ramchandra Guha or left ideologists it is due to their biased stand on Kashmir issue or for projecting Hindu sentiments in wrong way. Noway India is comparable to Pakistan. Today whatever we see in Pakistan is due to failure of democracy and it happened due to their leaders who failed to take their nation in right direction. In India even one can voice for releasing of killers of Rajiv Gandhi or the so called secular government even can go to court and say that Lord Ram never existed (mind you no protests ever happened on the issue). Pseudo seculars in India everyday freely express their views and live freely (I think it doesn't happens in Pakistan). One suggestion, you are free to exercise your right to freedom of expression but please don't compare India to Pakistan
Mr Akar patel you and guha are no different, both have a unfathomable pathological hatred for anything the current PM does. Mr. Guha just because he writes on variety of subject doesnt become an authority whom we are required to follow! There are plenty of such people. The problem with you and Guha is when you profess hatred,negative writings for RSS, BJP, PM it is supposed to be secular and tolerant. But when the opposite camp talks about hindutva, ram mandir, gau raksha, it is intlorence. You also live in Ahmedabad, as i do and with due honesty tell me how different it is now post 2002 for all the milieu in ahmedabad compared to the days from 1985 to 2002? But you wont admit because that would not espouse your narrow communal cause! I am very happy an entire generation of population in Gujarat post 2002 has gone through without any major incident of riot and now peace reigns. This i can say with full conviction and all honesty as - i am a resident in ahmedabad since 1982 and i have social and business relations with one and all. People like Guha, Amartya sen are peopled who are educated but not wise whom you can follow! Time indians understand there is a difference between getting educated with fancy degrees from hallowed institution and true education which is reflected in the conduct of a person at all times and all situations! Pity akar, you are espousing the cause of Guha, who sadly is not fit to be teaching even in a primary school!

Aakar patel's frustration is understandable after the crackdown on his notorious NGO the Amnesty International.It is a well thought out conspiracy to ensure that Mr Modi does not a second term bcoz if he gets, then people like Guha, Aakar Patel, Amartya sen, Arundathi Roy, Gautam Navlakha and sundries will have to shut their shop permanently. Aakar Patel is advocating that Ramachandra Guha has every right to question other people but the very same 'other people' have no right to question Guha. This is the strange narrative we hear these days. Select mainstream media houses like NDTV prominently carries anti-Modi utterances of disgruntled elements like Yashwantgh Sinha, Arun Shouries, Shathrughan Sinha to create an impression that Modi is losing his sheen within BJP. There are social media elements like The Wire headed by S Varadarajan who simply can not hide their hatred for Modi and keep spewing venom at him. End of the day, it is for we, the people, to stand firmly behind Mr Modi who is trying very hard to change the course of this nation and the future of the gennext.

Guha and Aakar enjoyed when their ideologies flourished politically and never complained their misdeeds.. Now when the ideology is on the bottom gasping for survival, these guys gang up and make noise.... haha and they think entire world is fool.. Their game of running anti hindu sentiments are over ...

Karma is hunting you ... i attended a seminar of you long back when UPA was in power(you were flourishing that time) and heard your bakwas for more than an hour justifying invasion of india by mughals which brought marvels like taj mahal to india and how their rules brought new cultural and artistic dimensions .. That day onwards i knew your ideology and what you stand for .. I am sure many would have cursed you the outcome of which you are now getting .. you deserve you fake historian..
