Yes...it Is very much a compulsion for non BJP parties to come together as all that they need is only power with absolutely no heart in the overall development of India. We only worry that in a country like India where religion still has a final say...people will try to defeat BJP by all means like these ghatbandhan, forging voter Id's the way they did in Karnataka, by coxing the poor people who will vote for anyone who gives them Rs..5000...10000...2000 on the day of voting. We are so helpless. We will have to sit and watch even if some sudden surprise name comes up for PM post of this great nation out of such alliances. What can be done?? Nothing? The law allows any party to have alliance just to have numbers...no ethics...no morals..Wonder what will be the fate of Indians post 2019 elections.

Creating religious hatred is not good for the country and BJP should realize it. We are a country of multifarious communities/religions. Best promotion of Hinduism is not spreading hatred but love and development for all.

Ram Niwasji, You feel religeous hatred is created by BJP. I strongly feel the Congress party has learnt that art so well since the days of Pre-Partition days. Unless the Hindus peacefully assert to stop the sheathed communalism by the vote bank politics of Congress, the country cannot progress. Hindus of the sub continent are far fewer in numbers now due to the secularism practiced by Congress party

They feel their grand alliance (mahagathbandhan) will be able to topple the Lotus.
If, unfortunately, that happens, it will be a field day for the vultures.
With Rahul Gandhi at the helm of affairs of congress party, BJP can be rest assured that he cannot forge an effective alliance with other opposition parties. RG definitely lacks negotiating skills and he is a bachcha in front of the seasoned politicians. Of course, Sonia is capable of forging opposition unity, but has health issues. It is time Gandhis realised their limitation and allows better persons to head the party.
I THINK PEOPLE OF INDIA WILL VOTE WISE FOR THE 2019 YEAR ELECTION. VOTING AND BRINGING UNITED OPPOSITION (WHICH CONSTITUTES A LARGE OF NUMBER OF PARTIES) WILL RESULT IN TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF INDIAN ECONOMY AS NO POLICY WILL BE ALLOWED TO IMPLEMENT / ENACT DUE TO DIFFERENCE OF OPINION AMONG THESE POLITICAL PARTIES.

Dear Opposition Leaders, Please do not underestimate Modi. If BJP loses 2019 then Modi will be more damaging to you. It is better to give him 2019 to remain at least in opposition.
Alliance may be possible, but then Great MAmta, Great Mayawati, Laloo, India's Kohinoor Kanhaiya , Star of india Jignesh , Hardik the emporar needs all to become PM. Although they come with 10 alliances, they can't win.
