(contd.)It looks as if all the Institutions from G’vner to EC to CBI to and other investigating agencies have taken a heavy toll in the hands of Modi govt.The revolt by four judges in public seeking to save democracy is another low point after Emergency days for our Institutions, judiciary to be specific. Thus, while his campaign #HumfittoIndiafit is welcome but what is more important for him as PM is to practice is the campaign #HumMorallyfittoIndiaHit. He is using media and the pliant anchors on TV surveys/talk shows to create a false impression that he is most popular leader in the country which is not correct. Given this background opposition should not make the mistake of building him up and seen to be fighting Modi or make it a Modi Vs RG battle because Modi far from being popular is highly unpopular in the country presently. Don't get misled by media. The opposition must unite to win and capture state after state w/o bothering about central leadership role and play into BJP/Modi’s hands. Central leadership of opposition will get thrown up automatically when the time comes. Even otherwise after the last 4 yrs of experience people prefer a coalition govt. than a single party/man rule thrusting majoritarianism. The opposition must be clear that it is not fighting Modi but only trying to put the country back on track to save the constitution and build the vision of India of plural harmonious society of all sections, religions dreamt by our freedom fighters.
I am surprised that BJP managed to win one LS and one assembly seat !Frankly I was expecting BJP to score a big zero. Had it been paper ballot that exactly would have been the result. In Bengal BJP ends up 2nd ahead of left is a big joke indeed. As expected with SS protesting it is time to switch to paper ballots forthwith. The by-poll results clearly reflect the disappointment and anger of majority of people against BJP and specifically against PM, Narendra Modi. Talk to ordinary people on the street no one has any good word to say about Modiji given the emperor like image he is trying to build for himself through advertisement gimmick and marketing spending thousands of crores. Easily he must be the most disliked PM of Independent India the way he shows scant regard for values, morality, ethics ... the naked abuse of power in K'rnataka when just after elections results he thundered arrogantly “only BJP would form govt”. when it was in no way to form a govt.No wonder the consequent shameless episodes of G'vner openly encouraging Horse trading were enacted and rest is history. Then you had Modiji's unethical road show close to Kairana a day before election !As a PM he thinks he can abuse his power with impunity, no questions asked! No wonder people have taught him a lesson in the by-polls

Nowadays many GovtMaadharChodhs (aka GMCs or 80% Gov employees) get pensions over 30K / pm, a gov peon or junior asst gets salary Rs 35K / pm, gov teacher 50k, lecturer Rs 1.5 lak, professor Rs 2 lak, etc.
Govt is collecting taxes, like GST, Income Tax, etc from the 97% hardworking people in the pvt sector to pay exorbitant salaries to 3% GMCs. I appreciate Modi's initiatives on many fronts, but what all these tax collections are for… to pay salaries to GMCs, 80% of whom are good-for-nothing fellows?
In pvt companies, only top 3% could be corrupt, but 97% employees have to work hard. In govt companies 80% are corrupt and / or laggard fellows.
GMC laggards, who eat up 10% GDP / yr, seldom work, but work very hard when there is scope for corruption. GMCs spend 80% time eating paan & spitting on walls, talking SexPoliticsAndNonsense, playing cards for 2 hrs when lunch time is 1 hr, etc
Pay good salaries only to defense personnel; reduce salaries of all GMCs to market-average levels; stop salary revisions of GMCs in future and divert the money thus saved to improving primary education, teaching English & providing healthcare to SCs, STs and the poor; family planning incentives; and to support poor farmers committing suicide. PAYING HIGH SALARIES TO GMCs KILLS PATRIOTIC SPIRIT AMONG COMMON HARDWORKING POPULACE.
