I fail to understand the logic. Congress is blaming BJP trying to horse trading and stamp them as villains. Is not the MLA accepting the money to switch sides too guilty and corrupt ?

Nowadays many GovtMaadharChodhs (aka GMCs or 80% Gov employees) get pensions over 30K / pm, a gov peon or junior asst gets salary Rs 35K / pm, gov teacher 50k, lecturer Rs 1.5 lak, professor Rs 2 lak, etc.
Govt is collecting taxes, like GST, Income Tax, etc from the 97% hardworking people in the pvt sector to pay exorbitant salaries to 3% GMCs. I appreciate Modi's initiatives on many fronts, but what all these tax collections are for… to pay salaries to GMCs, 80% of whom are good-for-nothing fellows?
In pvt companies, only top 3% could be corrupt, but 97% employees have to work hard. In govt companies 80% are corrupt and / or laggard fellows.
GMC laggards, who eat up 10% GDP / yr, seldom work, but work very hard when there is scope for corruption. GMCs spend 80% time eating paan & spitting on walls, talking SexPoliticsAndNonsense, playing cards for 2 hrs when lunch time is 1 hr, etc
Pay good salaries only to defense personnel; reduce salaries of all GMCs to market-average levels; stop salary revisions of GMCs in future and divert the money thus saved to improving primary education, teaching English & providing healthcare to SCs, STs and the poor; family planning incentives; and to support poor farmers committing suicide. PAYING HIGH SALARIES TO GMCs KILLS PATRIOTIC SPIRIT AMONG COMMON HARDWORKING POPULACE.
(Instead of Rs 1Lac /PM to a GMC, better pay 10k-to-10 pvt sctr hard-workers)

In 2014, with several major factors in favour (anti incumbency against the 10 year rule of the UPA, the 2G and Coal scams putting the UPA under a dark shadow, the more than apparent policy paralysis due to these two scams hurting the UPA govt further, the BJP having a much bigger hoard of black money to spend in the election than the Congress though the BJP had power in just 4 major states, the heavily divided opposition and above all the raucous high pitched grating voice of Narendra Modi holding gullible commoners in a spell when he talked about eskaaams and dhevvulluphmhennt...), the BJP could muster no more than 31 % of the total votes and its allies another 5 % !!
After 4 years of nothing but high pitched ceaseless braying out of lies, half truths and bombastic boasts, a flurry of renaming of already existing welfare schemes with fancy hyndi or sanskrit names and then pretending that they are profound schemes launched by him, massive pilferage of public wealth under the pretext of ensuring national security through the recasting of the Rafale deal and writing off loans from PSU banks worth several lakh crores of rupees through bank recapitalisation, Tughlaq measures such as the demonetisation and hastily crafted and done GST implementation, touching off the gigantic agrarian crisis that sees no end at present........and the opposition parties now moving to come together, it would take not only optimism but a large dose of self delusion to imagine that Narendra Modi would have a cakewalk before him in 2019 !
He sure would have to bank much more than he did in 2014 on the gullibility of commoners and devise many more effective commoner fooling tactics to hope to retain a large enough share of the LS seats in 2019 !
It does not matter whether its a cake walk or an uphill task as long as BJP romps home and our beloved PM gets a second term to take the country to even grater heights
No hard task master took challenges lightly. Is the elections of 2014 were easy for BJP. Mr. Modi has worked seriously and continuously for it and earn those results not by luck but by his and team's effort. The same efforts are going to be done in 2019. One thing is clear the opposition parties do not have one leader among themselves like Modi. All those who are claiming to be the PM in 2019 do not have nation wise popularity. It is not easy to run the govt. after 2019. Modiji has put India on such a height that the slight mistake by his successor will cause serious problem for the country and for the would be PM also. If Modiji becomes the PM he will handle those challenges well since he knows how to handle them. India has too many friends who are looking at her with lots of hopes and also has bitter enemies who just want Modi to go out of power so that they will be able to repeat their sinister designs again the way they are doing it before 2014. We have seen reports in a neighboring country were a journalist is openly asking his fellow country men to support anti Modi leaders in India so that he shall not be able to come to power in 2019. The question is who will be benefited most if he is unable to retain his power. Off course India's hard core enemies and also those who within the country are not able to nourish their sinister designs against the integrity and sovereignty of the country. Modiji with his hearse and tough measures almost able to finish many of them.
