There is an English adage which says 'Where there are fools (to believe), there are scoundrels (to fool them more).’
A scoundrel said India's GDP was 20% of world's economy in 1700 and fools believe it. Unfortunately the fact that even our former PM Mr Man Mohan Singh uttered this statement once shows the extent of idiocy even among the educated Indians. Also these idiots unintentionally admit that Mughals (Akbar-Jahangir-Shah Jehan- Aurangzeb) created this great Indian economy during 1550-1700.
To be correct, a pre-industrial primitive economy's size is based on populn—on the number of hands and legs—with other factors weighing little. If there are 1000 people in Country A, then there will be 1000 thatched houses, 1000 bowls, 1000 spears, 1000 cheddis, etc. In 1700, world populn was 50 cr. India’s populn was 10 cr and the Indian economy was 20% and China’s populn was15 cr and economy was 30% of the world economy.
British and French populations were 1 cr each; so their economies each was 2% of the world economy and so on.
After 1700, western economies expanded 100s of times due to industrialization, compared to the Indian economy, which expand but only 3 or 4 times.
If Indians (including MMS) shed just 10% of their ingrained idiocy and think, they understand that here the great Indian economy did not shrink but the western economies expanded rapidly after 1700.

just the way opposition has a single strategy all are up against Modi for no reason . All the people should go and vote for bjp specially those who are lethargic to go and vote but support modi/ because all these chidambaram's,pawars, gowdas, banerji ,gandhi have no ethics and hell bent on dividing indian majority community

who may come no question but we sincere tax payers are need the following 1. income tax limit 5 lakh 2. Local train should be run in time 3. road should be smooth without any hole 4. Petrol/desiel price should be fixed and to be increase once in a six months instead of every day. 5. Except Highway all tols should be remove. 6. BPL people should get their ration in fair price shop 7. all unnecessary advertisement should be stopped 8. Media is the third piller of democracy they should be freed and give the correct news to know the working of govt and others
these are the minimum tax payers requirement unless appreciating should struck up these points. we hope all readers and commenters are agree with this. Above all every central ministers and state minister should work honestly and independents instead one man showing.

Demand to add: No pension and financial support to Politicians after their term.They are the biggest burdon on tax payers and are counter productive.
No reservations to a family where one Graduate/one person is Government employee. To facilitate more support to the needy.
However much the opposition tries to dislodge him it will be modi sarkar. Not because of his work but the people will give him a second opportunity to complete his work. Five years is too short a period to evaluate the performance of the govt, ten years will be better
