I think police did the right thing at Thoothukudi. It was high time the protestors were instilled with sense of fear of law and order to prevent rioting and arson in future. Also the role of the Church should be thoroughly probed for instigating the violence.

A so called film lyricist can cast aspersions on Andal's character and get away with it during the holy tamil month of Margazhi (Dec -jan). If the Iyengar community sends out a strong objection on this issue by taking out protest marches,then the author dubs it as sanskrit brahmin centric imagery. what logic. Brahmins are not destroying TN but so called rationalist tamils who are now sheltering the fringe elements from sri lanka. I wont be surprised if another war over Ealam erupts in TN, courtesy DMK and its supporters.

The Christian missionaries are the only common link in all the cases .For their self proclaimed interests and to ensure their clout & their other nefarious activities are not caught , they have resorted to these type of protest.Gullible fools, the common man are drawn into it , with even losses of Jobs ( in the recent case ) & loss of life. The ones who have orchestrated it are enjoying the fruits, sittin somewhere else.
Except the Jallikattu which was a real people's movement all other protests are funded and organised by the NGOs blocked for illegal activities in India in the last UPA rule.
