You had the opportunity to bargain best deals for the voters/farmers before agreeing to the Offer to to stake the claim. Why you did not ask the Big Brother to Fund the Waiver amount? Now if the funds are diverted from Public/Government Funds, concerned law enforcing agencies should monitor that this fund is not diverted to politicians pocket or party for 2019 General Election .

Loan Waiver
by Patriotic Indian on May 28, 2018 04:58 PM  | Hide replies

Loan Waving is now fashion and becoming status symbol for the Political Party's. Hon'ble Supreme Court should take the cognizance of it and declare loan waving announcement are illegal. If any party is willing to waive the loans then they should give the funds availability to the SC without compromising the welfare of the State.

Also it should be asked why the loan waiving for farmers only? Why not for Labour and Employees who due to some reason not able to pay the EMIs.

Since the political Parties take the credit for the Loan waiver's,the fund utilized for this "Holy Cause"should come from the concerned Party Fund and not from Public fund/or Govt.exchequer.

My one question
by ramakrishna on May 28, 2018 04:23 PM  | Hide replies

if you think you are rejected by people of Karnataka, why have you taken CM post.
You are saying it because you planed 53000 cr waiver loan by borrowing more from abroad and violeting fiscal discipline.
This is is what problem in India when JDS, BJP , Congress all announce big waiver no one asks from where you get money. But the day they come to power they ask this.
I dont belive people are dumb not asking it before election, they know this fact very well and still vote thing some magic might happen.

CM still now will give this waiver borrowing it from abroad but result is in comming years state has to pay more interest, More states will ask this, making India's economy and currency to devalue, make higher inflation and pay higher interest for future farmer loans and become debt ridden again.

With this all this farmer should know that taking waiver is not his solution, he should consider farming as his business and make it profitable. If can't dont do farming instead sell to other who can do it and you do other JOB for living

An educated person with all the statistics in hand you can speak this an more. But being as an uneducated a farmer can't think what you can, and even end up liquidating his property on poor value to real estate giants.

A farmer is the one who is fighting to feed us from the nature's fury.

A Very nice reply...Yes..Instead we must look at making agriculture profitable business rather than going behind borrowing. Every time the scene is, we waive off the loans for vote bank, borrow huge amounts from foreign banks. A sizeable portion of this money will be first kept aside for party fund or any other commitment which will not be relevant for the general public. If anything remains will be used for the benefit of people. This applies to all parties in the current scenario. We need to think rationally before making such commitments to public.

He has taken good decision to be CM with the help of congress, yes politicians must learn to work together, happy that a bigger party has given its right to be CM, accepted local extortionist, now congress will extort.
Best combination would have been that congress and BJP work together in national interest instead of mingling with local extortionists. This is barring speed of nation and many national issues are unresolved viz. population policy, reservation to creamy layer, common civil code etc.,etc., and many reforms.
