The respected writer, it appears has no knowledge at all about politics.May be that he is very young.The democracy has been killed and given a ceremonial burial by the great congress party.Very sad friend does not seem be aware of.This is the N th time this type of horse trading has happened.The non mandated CM and congress have done this many times in the past.Please go AND ask the people who has the knowledge of political history of karnataka. It seems that you are the big Chamacha of Congress, who clearly lost the Karnataka Election but came to power by purchasing one who;e party and offered CM post as bribery. Now they have licence to loot the state for another period, although they were defeated by state people, they last 44 constituency from their last tally but still they are making popular govt.

The BJP chamchas need to understand that in Karnataka, people voted 104 MLAs of BJP, but 117 MLAs against BJP. Even if alliance govt.were not formed, the above correct position remains. The 104 MLAs were the outcome of PM Modi spending 7 days and making 21 rallies, 19 ministers in Karnataka, MPs, MLAs,govt. officials, machinery, cars, petrol,and 50,000 RSS swayamsewaks, apart from totally bought, threatened and petrified media and unknown funds from industrialist friends. That surely cannot be called any "mandate". BJP did that mischief in Goa and Manipur. But that will not be possible any more. The alliance in Karnataka is the direct result of the dislike for BJP (Yeddy, and PM etc.)not any mandate.

Daniel I can understand if Cong forms the Govt - because they have majority. But Cong showed greed to 37 MLA party for CMs post whose 147 candidates lost majority. the case is pending in SC now. In Goa and Manipur BJP formed the Govt with second highest seats. Cong never chose their leaders and they never staked claim. Ethics demand that Cong form Govt . In that case will HDK support Cong. NO WAY.

Well, daniel. Please apply same logic to all other states. Where the people have given majority seats to BJP and not to the opposition. So, how is democracy dying? Just because the gandhi family is not in power, democracy is going down?

By blaspheming against the Constitution, one can only show ignorance and deep set hatred and rabid communal feelings. All religions including Hindu religion must be respected and allowed to be freely practised and professed. Even when the Constitution did not exist certain basic restraints were certainly observed by the two foreign rulers, i.e.the Mughlas and the British. This cannot be denied because it were not so and if the Muslims/British were that bad as now being made out by BJP/RSS, we would surely have seen many more people of that religion and much less of Hindu people. That did not happen.Unfortunately, the govt.and all its supporters are bent upon spreading hatred against minorities for staying in power permanently. But, all Hindu people being deeply cultured with good inculcation of ethics and morals, do not think like BJP, but oppose them. That is the hope for this country.
