Only for the people living in Northern India and a party, this type of thinking come. People who are from that district dominate in Education, business, Industry, fishing, shipping etc in TN did not raise any such question. No political party in TN speak as you raised.
All the crooked political parties Viz, DMK, AIADMK & Congress have patronized Sterlite industries!It is the poor common man who suffers due to these jackals!
Err.....what about the biggest crook among them - the BJP ??
What they did (overturning the earlier govts decision to have a public hearing and allowing Sterlite in 2014 Dec to commence construction of its second phase) is rather very inconvenient to talk about, right ?
the AIADMK (which allowed the plant to be set up in gross violation of several rules and kept suppressing peoples protests against the pollution),
the DMK (which continued from where the AIADMK signed off after it came to power),
the Congress (which first gave Environment clearance to the plant) and
the BJP (which received the biggest sums of black money from Anil Agarwal and overturned the UPAs final decision to order a public hearing for allowing the plant expansion) are guilty !!
