I ask this sardar if he would have acted the same way if the girl was from Sikh community and the mob was of Sikhs?

I ask you - would you join that mob and beat someone up? I think I know the answer.

@anil sood:

What is the intent behind your question ?

--1--Is it to somehow "demonstrate" that Gagandeep's bravery has limits (brave in some situations, not brave in other situations) ?

--2--Is it to somehow "demonstrate" that Gagandeep's sincerity towards his duty has limits (are you trying to somehow "demonstrate" that if it had been a sikh mob, he would have joined that mob in attacking the man)

--3--Are you somehow trying to "demonstrate" that what the mob was doing was right, and what Gagandeep did was wrong ?

If these are the "limits" you are somehow trying to "demonstrate" by asking those questions, I'd like to humbly tell you this -- "It is better to appreciate a little bit of bravery or sincerity, than to point out its limits"

How will state govt (BJP) react to this brave sincere act
by Chaitanya on Jun 08, 2018 01:07 AM

Recognizing or reward this officer will be opposed by the BJP govt's extreme right wing support base.

So, rather than reward or recognize, I wonder if the State govt will actually harass and hound this brave and sincere officer.

COM MUN AL rediff hides / underplays serious crimes of muxleems

How many articles Rediff wrote on brutal actual murder of Ankit Sharma by his muxlim girl friend's parents in broad daylight in Delhi streets? Or hunderds of Ankits in India?

Boss, please have some sense. The policeman just did what every policeman is supposed to do. Prevent mob violence. As for the murder you talk about, the fact that you know about it is itself proof that enough media outlets have talked about it. As a human being I am shocked that people can stoop to this level, and here you are going on your usual bhakt style rant. Maybe you will learn if people assault you the next time you go to New York or Dubai, for belonging to a different religion.

@Harish Manwani: thanks for expressing the very thoughts in my mind.

The other point to note is the rhetoric nature of the questions:

How many blah blah...

If the guy has any facts and figures about how many articles were written about different crimes, it is far more OBJECTIVE to mention those facts and figures, rather than as RHETORIC questions "How many were written on this crime? "
