Any change for betterment of the country and its governance is resisted by a selective brand of Pseudo-intellectuals. They think that Whatever they were doing so far, was the BEST. Such people have badly damaged this country in last 70 years. Current government is working for bright future of the country and want that all should change their corrupt and narrow attitudes to make a new In.dia

People like Arvind Mayaram will always criticize the change in thought process (typical of any civil servant) as the Political leadership will be able to prevail over them and make them work.
All these years these people have enjoyed at the cost of common public and pretend to be holier than the cow.
The old system of linking the success and career to score in one of exam makes hundreds and thousands feel loss of future opportunities. In view of emerging challenges facing the society, it is essential to look at overall talent and not just academic excellence.
I therefore welcome the proposed changes.
