Opposition
by Ravi on May 24, 2018 09:59 AM  | Hide replies

What a coincidence these people yesterday criticising each other and today shaking hands. They all are desperate how they come to power again to loot Indian people.

It is another accomplishment from Modi. Bringing all villains together to fight dharma. Hopefully India is seeing the wicked minds at work.

The essential, inevitable united Opposition
by daniel thorat on May 24, 2018 08:30 AM  | Hide replies

All Opposition parties coming together is the best thing that came out of Karnataka elections. Anything, any sacrifice of personal ambitions, gains, reputation is absolutely fully justified and called for to save our beloved nation from the clutches of a rabidly communal govt. which has done nothing else but doing every shrewd, cunning plan and scheme only for pushing the country into the false, deceptive imagery of mythology. Survival of the nation is million times more important than any bogus hero worship. Good luck and Godspeed!

Well, the 2014 LS election
by piri on May 24, 2018 08:26 AM  | Hide replies

was all about the mighty black money power of the BJP !

Though it then had power in just 4 states, it hugely outspent the Congress party (that was in power at the centre for 10 years) in election campaigning !

According to the Centre for Media Studies, New Delhi (that monitors and surveys election expenses of political parties in every election), the BJP spent more than Rs 12000 crores in 2014 while the Congress spent Rs 7400 crores !

The CMS also reported that the BJP reported an expenditure of just Rs 780 crores to the Election commission and the Congress reported Rs 540 crores.

No IT notice, no ED raid, no DRI raid, no nothing for political parties spending tens of thousands of crores of black money !

The BJP benefited greatly from the anti incumbency against the 10 year rule of the UPA, from the scams such as Coal and 2G (which the Modi govt itself weakened to let off the main accused, Anil Ambani, who is one of its big contributors of black money) but most from the high expense election campaigning !

In 2019, there would be only big money power among the above to aid the BJP in its election campaign.

Scams have turned the other way and the BJP would rather not talk about the topic (Rafale is so recent and the evidences about it being a massive scam are too incriminating) and Modi has long forgotten his Na khaoo....Na khane.... and he is carefully toning down on his anti corruption fighter and chowkidar pretensions !

There is only the massive hoard of black money for him !

CPM has suffered much more than the Congress or any other party due to the extremely corrupt and criminal nature of the BJP (though its cadres in Kerala make it a point to kill RSS workers within a day or two after the latter, encouraged by the black money given by Amit Shah, kill CPM workers) !

And the CPM is not supporting and will not support the Congress in Kerala and the contest in Kerala will remain between them and the Congress, keeping the BJP in its usual position, a pretender with the 10 % votes it always gets (regardless of how much it spends) !

Any one of the earlier govts. of India could have had a Stalin-Mao type regimented govt.and destroyed all freedoms in our Constitution. By employing the 19 central ministers, MPs, MLAs, full govt.machinery,Corporators, Leaders, and 50,000 RSS swayamsewaks in Karnataka, the present govt. has already given us a test of that. If the Oppn.does not stay united then we may well expect our armed forces to help the govt. in winning elections. Yes, protect our Constitution which is thrown out of the window by the govt.
