Yes there was Rahul wave in Karnataka, that is why Congress is battling to be number two now in Karnataka and that too after holding their MLAS as hostages for the last 15 days which will continue for another 15 days till the congress and their borrowed alley forms the government. have you heard anything like seat difference. Was manipur, Goa the seat difference between BJP and congress was 30.
If not BJP, PDP could have jooined hands with congress. Its congress failures to get seats seats with NC advocated BJP-TDP alliance.

Only Hindus didn't give clear mandate. Muslims and Christians were clearly behind Cong at most places and JD-S in certain pockets in southern karnataka

In 2008, Yeddyurappah led the BJP to 37 % votes and 110 seats in the Karnataka assembly election.
There was no komaaaaali Modi anywhere near any campaign in Karnataka then !
In 2013, fresh from spending a term in prison for iron ore theft and being denied a ticket by the BJP, Yeddyurappah formed his own party (KJP) and picked up 16 % of the total votes in the Karnataka assembly election !
The BJP, as a result went down to 19 % and 40 seats !
In effect, the prison term and the iron ore theft did little to reduce the appeal of Yeddyurappah among his Lingayat vote base !
In 2018, with Yeddyurappah back, the BJP came back to 36 % and won 104 seats !
The Lingayat votes came back !
Where does the braying komaaaaali Modi come into the picture at all ??
Where is the evidence that his braying in the kyndi language fetched any votes for the BJP in Karnataka, any more than what the BJP would have won anyway with or without the komaaaali ?
