We should not allow the Ruling Party to appoint its stooges as Governors as it can severely undermine fair decisions .They should be appointed from the well informed Impartial persons with excellent track as Individuals and for a period of 5 years and not to be appointed twice in their life time.They can be given a reasonasble pension for their 5 yaer term just to acknowledge their service .This cannot be more than Rs 50,000 per month.and this should be for a period of Five Years only.why life time ?

In my opinion the Governor post should be removed, instead introduce a cadre system like IAS, IPS , Indian Governor Service(IGS) , and make them independent like judicial system, otherwise today it is bjp tomorrow it will be congress or other who will abuse governors.jo bhi lanka mai jatahai Ravan ban jata hai !
