Horse trading
by NEELAKANTAN R on May 18, 2018 10:59 PM  | Hide replies

Congress did a whole sale horse trading of getting all 38 JDS MLAs by offering CM post and allowing HDK to earn enough. Only retail horse trading is bad.

What happened between Cong and JD(S) is at party level, not at individual party MLA level.

Anything that happens at individual MLA level attracts anti-defection law, and is not just "bad", it's illegal as per anti-defection law.

See the difference now ?

Even at the party level, if money was transferred it would be "bad" and probably illegal and punishable.

actually suggesting reforms that WILL reduce corruption a very great deal !

Now, which political party would listen to him ?

Especially, can the biggest thief of all - the BJP - be expected to do something that will make the mountain of black money it is sitting on, disappear ??

Will any political party that runs on black money given by corporates carry out these reforms ??

Will they do this especially when the biggest beneficiaries if such reforms are implemented and enforced in letter and spirit (commoners of India) themselves are generally far too stuxpid to understand what this is all about ?

Hey dumbo, dont try to pretend to understand anything here !

Trying to debate with serious counters is not quite as easy as doing a correspondence course in law in the kyndi language !!

Get back to your shack at once and try to go out there and grab your squat spot on the street early tomorrow morning to beat the crowds before they come and deny you a spot !

Take BURNAAL and one peg of whiskey and take rest for ever. Let country be developed and don't let leaders who kept India underdeveloped for 60 come into power. You can ask your congi the party which is sitting on huge mountain of black money to away from politics for 20 years until country turned into developed country. Until then don't raise your voice. METHOD OF IMPROVEMENT , IF WE WISH???//
by anoop kumar on May 18, 2018 08:08 PM

IF YEDDURAPPA FAILS , THEN OPTION IS CONGRESS JDS. ANOTHER SWEARING CEREMONY . AGAIN EXPENDITURE & WASTAGE OF TIME.
IF CONGRESS JDS , NONE CAN WORK FREELY.
IF CONGRESS WITHDRAW SUPPORT , AGAIN VOID & MAY BE PRESIDENT RULE & RE ELECTION.
WHAT IS ADVANTAGE? MORE HIDDEN ECONOMICAL PRESSURE ON PUBLIC.
NOW IF AMENDMENT AS:-
THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY PRE OR POST ALLIANCE IN PARTIES.
SINGLE LARGEST PARTY WILL MAKE PERMANENT GOVERNMENT IF IN ABSOLUTE MAJORITY.
IF NOT , THEN SINGLE LARGEST WILL MAKE GOVERNMENT FOR ONE YEAR & THEN RE ELECTION SHOULD BE.
ADVANTAGE :
IF HAPPENS SO , THEN SINGLE LARGEST WILL MAKE GOVERNMENT WITHOUT ANY BLACK MAILING & HE & OTHER WILL DO ALL HONEST WORK FOR ABSOLUTE MAJORITY & ULTIMATELY AS WE KNOW EVERYTHING IS FOR PUBLIC, SO PUBLIC WILL ALSO GET BENEFITED DUE TO HONEST WORK BY PARTIES TO GET ABSOLUTE MAJORITY.
EVERY COMMON MAY NOT BE LOADED WITH HIDDEN EXPENDITURE.
SO WHAT THE PROBLEM IN SUCH AMENDMENT???????

Governor call for BJP
by s k b on May 18, 2018 07:48 PM  | Hide replies

This is the best and wise decision by the Governor sir. Today congress and JDS have been dejected by the people and then they made an unholy alliance post result. Supreme court judge should not allow the floor test undermining the President position. Governor is working under President only. Supreme court judge should not consider themselves as Lords as they were called so far since British days.

rediff has posted one more of its typically biased writer's article on this matter. the "intellectual" says there is nothing wrong with the cong-jds forming alliance. Why did they not form it before the election then? they have contested head on in all the constituencies and now come with tamasha claims to the court. In fact Punjab is the onlybexception in the last 20years that cong could come to power on its own strength. In all the loksabha and assembly elections they won they never ca,e to power without coaltition partners. And in every case later they fell out of favour .

So, was there a pre poll alliance in Meghalaya? in Goa? in Manipur? The answer is no - all governments that the BJP formed with the allies were after the elections. So how is this different?

"dejected" is the feeling of depression that you get when something you badly wish for eludes you -- something like BJP's feelings from the recent election results.

How is Cong JD(S) alliance unholy ? Simply because it does not involve BJP? What can be more unholy than BJP-PDP alliance ?

Is there anything called precedent?
Selective application of law, combined with contradictory interpretation of its provisions, is the worst assault on constitution.
