Author trying to downgrade BJP performance
by Rajendra Pillewar on May 16, 2018 03:43 PM  | Hide replies

The author seems biased. He cannot see rise of BJP from 40 to 104, fall of Cong from 122 to 78 and fall of JD-S from 40 to 38.
Height of hypocrisy.
Height of biased against Narendra Modi.

BJP past masters
by Ajay Prasad on May 16, 2018 02:06 PM

The author is naive when he says BJP flunked. He cannot see the obvious even though it is blazingingly clear. Or maybe he doesn't want to see. Events will unfold like this (1) BJP invited to form Govt. with 7 days to prove. (2) On 7th day, they will prove majority as some Cong JDS will not be present. (3) Things will settle down and some JDS Cong will slowly switch side (4) All will be forgotten and concentration on next election. Why spend time on the obvious. All is fair and might is always right everywhere.

by s kumar on May 16, 2018 01:59 PM

first yeddy effect had both negative and positive fallout. Corruption is till very much there verywhere thriving so no issue. second - issues of moral policicing , fronge elements/incidents are very few tey affetc ony intelelctuals not general public. third -its true its campaign has no connection to local but compared to congress which treats all indiaN LANGUAGES AND cultures (except north) with utter disdain.. BJP atleast is somewhat better ..the problem arising out of hindiii language were basically from congresss policy 60 years back ..

Did you anywhere read the congress staked claim to form the govt be it in goa or anywhere else when they were short of majority. Take e.g of Delhi when AAP fewer MLAs than BJP but short of majority. When BJP did not stake claim in Delhi, AAP with post coalition partnerr congress was called to form govt. In this case, BJP has staked claim, let them prove majority. if they dont JDS and congress will be given a chance to form. we know from past experience JDS will behave like a unsatisfied wife and divorce anyways

If BJP had got 7-8 more seats I wonder what the author would have to say. Just 2-3 months ago, pollsters were predicting absolute majority for the Congress.

Bjp is eligible to sit only at opposition benches not to rule the country and giving speeches of hatred.
