Siddhu could have been fined at least 20-30 Lakhs if he guilt was established!

Should I say judges have saved " Democracy" by this judgement?

Siddhu could have been fined at least 20-30 Lakhs if his guilt was established!Remember besides being minister he wanted to continue acting in Kapil Sharma's show so that he continues to earn money.By fining him heavy -at least some positive message would have gone in the society!

Now only thing has happened his that his council appearing in courts would have made money out of him ...

Should I say judges have saved " Democracy" by this judgement? At

this is the worst kudgement. no doubt people ate losing their faith in judiciary. a 65 year man was assaulted and dies in hospital but the culprit is fined just Rs.1000/-. and this is the same judge who revolted againdt the CJI.

Rs.1000 fine for voluntarily causing hurt. Even if the hurt results in death?
Any compensation for the kin of the dead?
In USA senator Edward Kennedy drove his car into a lake, causing the death of a woman travelling with him. He left the scene of accident without informing the police, a serious offence. He was found guilty but let off with a suspended sentence.
Both in India and USA the courts courageously sentence the high profile offenders but the punishment is negligible. We seem to have attained the American standard at least in this matter.
