When there is no rule for becoming a politician, the data given in this article is irrelevant. Public are frustrated and would appreciate some suggestion how to wipe our these termites.

Stop electing thieves !
Do not fall for promises of *development* !
The more frontline parties *develop* the country, the worse it becomes for commoners !
If the ruling party members just do nothing and do not steal at all, the country will develop in slower but sustainable ways on its own !
Reject parties that conduct expensive election campaigns ! Reject anything that is heavily advertised !
Re: Re: Background of candidates.

Dear Piri's analogy is that the less advertised is a lesser thief in politics. Who will buy this argument? Kejrewal used to advertise a lot for the tiny state of Delhi by utilizing the state funds. It is appreciable if Piri calls such advertisements to project an individual by using state funds as a wrong doing. But if a registered political party spends from its party's accounts on advertisements, it is perfectly legal and cannot be demonized.. Unless right parties advertise their achievements or manifestos people cannot understand their mission well. In case such parties fail to deliver, courts are there to claim damages. Country can only be developed by a front line party alone and not by family or dynastic oriented parties. Only the dynasty's power and finances improve or family member's fortunes shall soar like in business houses.

Piris *analogy* (did you mean hypothesis?) is that the more a political party campaigns, the more it is forced to steal public wealth !
Simple enough to understand ?
For example, the BJP has been spending record sums of money in LS election campaigns, assembly campaigns, municipal campaigns, panchayat campaigns.....
The BJP has been breaking its own records continuously in election after election, even in regions where it has miniscule vote shares !
The Congress, erstwhile record holders, is now pushed to a distant second place !
Where does the BJP (and the Congress) get all those thousands of crores of rupees from ?? (the CMS ha estimated that the BJP spent Rs 12000 crores plus and the Congress Rs 7000 crores plus in the 2014 LS election)
Not from its members of course ! (BJP and Congress members join these parties to make money or totry to make money, not to contribute thousands of rupees each!).
So, where do the BJP and the Congress(and to a much lesser extent, the regional parties) get those tens of thousands of crores of rupees from ?
Surely, no corporate or corporates would give them all those thousands of crores of rupees every election unless they get 3 fold or 4 fold or 10 fold benefits at the expense of the hapless commoners ??

It has to be a collective unanimous decision by the public. One person use the NOTA option is not going to help.

expect to get a puppet President, a puppet VP, a puppet CEC, a puppet CJI, puppet Governors..... !
Narendra Modi, who has been the most corrupt politician in India for quite some time now, relied merely on the gullibility of most north Indian commoners to build up his cloak of being an anti corruption crusader.
What he actually did when he thought no one was looking :
1. Sat on the Lok Pal bill (passed by Parliament in 2013) and prevented it from being implemented
2. Oversaw the murders of 64 persons who became whistleblowers on big corruption with none of the accused being prosecuted under the Whistleblowers Protection Act passed by Parliament in 2014 May
3. Shepherded the systematic dilution of the provisions of the RTI act with tactics such as refusal to reply to an ever larger number of queries and huge understaffing of the RTI department of the Central govt
4. Spent a world record amount of Rs. 12000 crores plus in campaign expenses for a political party (BJP) in a single election (2014 LS election)
5. Transferred the 3 ED officers who dared to file an FIR and a case against Gautam Adani for laundering Rs. 5468 crores by round-tripping his corporate profits from Mauritius using the P note FDI investment route. The officers had still more than a year each left in their tenure in the ED office in Ahmedabad and no cabinet note accompanied their pre-term transfer (as mandated by the CAT). The case filed against Adani has so far seen 24 adjournments !

6. Resolutely opposed the appointment of a Lok Ayukta in Gujarat for 12 years during his tenure as CM
7. Gave away hundreds of hectares of revenue land to Gautam Adani in Mundra at a price of Rs. 16/- per sq metre when the neighbouring plots of land were given to war widows at the subsidized price of Rs. 260/- per sq metre !
(And in turn, Gautam Adani sub-let these very plots of land to PSUs such as Indian Oil Corp for lease amounts as high as Rs. 700/- per sq metre) !
8. Oversaw the emaciation and laying to waste of the previously profitable GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation) with its debt mounting to Rs. 19000 crores (more than double the amount stolen by Vijay Mallya, the fugitive).
The GSPC became a sacrificial public resource in the hands of the BJP govt of Gujarat in order to fatten up the rapacious Mukesh Ambani led Reliance group.
9. Oversaw the ascent of Gujarat from rank 10th in 2001 to rank 2nd in 2014 in terms of pollution !
(Thousands of industrial units were given consent by the Gujarat pollution control board under the air and water acts without even the basic wherewithal to prevent soil, water and air pollution, so much so that the CAG was forced to observe in its 2011 report that even the sea around Mundra and Jamnagar had become black !
10. Under his watch the BJP continues to break record after record in election campaign and media expenditure for state assembly as well as even local body elections

11. And the one that takes the cake !
Withdrew from the deal Dassault was in the final stages of making with the Public sector HAL to manufacture Rafale fighter aircraft in India with Transfer of Technology for Rs. 84000 crores (for 126 aircraft) and by his own governments admission, agreed to pay Rs 54000 crores for a mere 36 Rafales without transfer of technology for hiring his crony capitalist friend - Anil Ambanis RDL instead of HAL !!
The defence ministry, in the aftermath of the komaaaalis deal with Dassault for outright purchase of 36 Rafales, had announced that the deal was for Rs. 54000 crores.
But when the details of the deal (such as the dropping of the TOT element) began to tumble out, journalists as well as legislators queried the defence ministry for the complete details of the deal. In response, Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the details would be soon be made public.
However, she reneged on that promise and made an U turn in parliament to state that details of the price for the Rafale fighter cannot be made public due to reasons of security !!
Perhaps she realized that such security matters are vitally important as an after thought !

Piri has atleast not called that Prime Minister as a puppet unlike we had one Manmohan Sing a puppet for Sonia. The UPA rule had a defacto prime minister and Modi's Government doesnot have. There is accountability by Modi. Is Sonia accountable for the corrupt deeds of UPA? Defacto Rule is poisonous to democracy. The charges of corruption levelled is no taker but piri himself since it is imaginary. It is called phobia. This country doesnot require any Lokpal as long as the Rule is by an honest of the order of Modi..
