Journalists a noble profession.

Journalism is not a crime. Definitely not. It is a highly responsible job. Like any other profession, journalism also should have a code of conduct, written or unwritten. If a journalist errs, consciously or unconsciously, there should be some corrective measures and punitive action, if need be. In our country even an army officer in line of duty was brought to the books by the state. The journalist is also not an exception. If they resort to purposeful misrepresentation of facts or spreads totally fake news, they like any other professional, has to be made accountable and brought under the control of law.
