Murder of Public Lady officer at Kasauli
by Devindra Amla on May 05, 2018 12:10 PM

Officer was executing SC orders, therefore, SC legally, morally and being Apex court must take up the proceeding at SC on day to day basis and deliver the punishment in 15 working days maximum.
Otherwise impact will be diluted and limitations and laxity of SC and Indian Judiciary will be well exposed as the institution has already lost trust and confidence of public owing to their In house Pollution, Corruption and lethargic accomplishments.
High Time for SC and Indian Judiciary to revive public Trust, faith and Respect.

exemplary punishment to instill fear

The hotelier who brazenly shot dead the Town Planning Officer should be punished severely. The Apex Court orders were disobeyed and an officer on duty was murdered in cold blood, this very act has to dealt with the severity accorded to the rarest-of-rare crimes. The fear of the noose never deterred this criminal from mowing down a Supreme Court delegated officer to death, such instances of criminal behaviour is a bad precedent. Can the justice system instill fear among law-breakers?

THIS CAN BE PREVENTED IF THE SAID PROPERTY COULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO COSTRUCT INITIALLY. IF THE OWNER HAS INVESTED HUGLY, THEN IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR THE OWNER TO REMOVE HIS SOURCE OF INCOME. THIS IS THE FAULT OF GOVERNMENT. LOCAL AUTHORITIES SHOULD STOP ANY ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION AT THE INETIAL STAGE.

You mean to say, if you pay huge amount for killing some body, you should not be punished as you have invested huge amount for killing the person, though it is illegal and you knew the same from the beginning. What a joke. Grow up man be rational.

The owner knowingly violated building norms, right from the initial stage he was seen as flouting laid out laws. Over and above this, he went on to threaten a court-mandated officer and then shooting the official to death in cold-blood. This very act should invite punishment awarded to crimes of the rarest-of-rare crimes!
