SC concern for Taj
by Devindra Amla on May 03, 2018 10:58 AM

Such sorry state that SC, as I remember making similar statements since past few decades including inception and execution of Mathura Refinery, gut who cares about environmental pollution including Air pollution on Taj or human lives, moreover under present crisis of Indian Judiciary and lowest level of SC status , No one going to listen SC directives when their own house and system is polluted and corrupt above air quality of Delhi and Agra.
However, its public concern to save Taj and human lives from checking air Pollution by planting more rapid growing non horticultural tress, high raising shrubs, installations of electronic Chimnees for industries, switching over to non fossil fuels and energy, otherwise our own survival will be major and paramount significance in coming 10 years from now.

The Taj Mahal colour

The SC knows full well that if the govt. and Ajay Singh Bisht of UP are allowed, they would like to paint it saffrom, with a new identity and concocted history to the edifice. It is a world famous monument, which quite sincerely, could never have been built by any rulers of our mythology or even the British. That distinction need not be painful to anyone but a matter of pride.

what a foolish observation ! Taj did not turn green overnight. Its years of mismanagement. Check with the previous govt's too if they wanted it painted green?

India-China border tension etc.
by daniel thorat on May 02, 2018 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

A govt. junket like this just cannot reduce any tension anywhere. The tensions are caused because China wants to take what we do not want to give. That root cause remains. It would definitely be foolish to pat Modi and the two lady ministers for any great achievement because China is unpredictable. Such fake news and twisted headlines do not serve us well. The whole act was more likely to be a image booster for oncoming elections, nothing else.
