With the existing Indian laws and with the exiting court proceedings, the anti social activists are becoming bolder and bolder to do heinous acts. They know that by dragging the court hearings the witnesses become hostiles either because of threatens or by purchasing them. We have lawyers who are prepared to defend the accused who are habitual offenders. Over and above we have so called 'Buddhi Jivis' ( intellectuals ) who also criticize Government actions supported by media persons. If the police take action the media criticizes. If the police do not take action then also media criticizes. More than the parents, the media, the money and existing laws are responsible for all kinds of crimes.
We often fear speaking truth,listening truth but this is bitter truth that most of the molesters and rapist are spoilt children which are not taught moral values by their parents,they donot object to his wrong doings and if somebody complaints about it,they are ready to fight with the complainant instead of scolding their ward(s). Such lacking parents,particularly of minor age criminals must be punished severely if we really want safety of our young and innocent daughters.

I also agree that upto some extent Parents are also responsible as in the wake of freedom and modernisation they just stops pointing out to girls.

the MLA spoke the truth, about the parents responsibility and about media. it does not matter which party he is from.
