Modi

As an ordinary citizen I sometimes wonder at the consistent tirade carried out by the mainstream media and social media against Mr.Modi and the BJP. Why? This is the first time the BJP as a political party has made it big in governance of the country.I think on the whole their perf.record for the past 4 years has been far better than many govts. in the past.Let me clarify, that I am no BJP lover but just an ordinary guy who has been voting for different parties at diff. times. Should we as citizens of this country want that a certain party should never come to power and that only one party should always win? In a democracy even a party that most of us don't know or like(assuming such a thing) comes to power so be it.Let them rule their term. This country, I don't think has witnessed so much of hostility(media-articulated) against a particular party as the BJP has.No such thing was seen against the previous regimes. Why? Do we think they are the best in the country to govern? Let's learn to develop a democratic temperament first as individuals before we become a democratic nation. The trouble with us, majority of us, are basically not democratic and tolerant even in our homes. The strain ,therfore on the nations democratic fabric can no more be self- evident. Let them rule who are elected to rule. We may not agree with them .But let's get on with our job as citizens to be honest tax-payers and law-abiders and reserve our right to cast vote next time around.

Good, Indian representative attended the event. Indians have been in exchange of knowledge with Tibet; may be from the time of Nalanda.
