Disgruntled judges seems slandering the CJI.

Why is it expected that JUDICIARY MUST always oppose the GOVERNMENT ?

These meaningless and irrational dicta are making the democracy a weird democracy where every one speaks out and says it is LAW.

Why can't the Judiciary support the government when government is embarked on reforming the society and nation ?

Why can't government seek support from Judiciary in order to thwart attempts by scum bags of opposition parties to sabotage the government on EVERY ASPECT ?

Fail to understand where from these weird theories emanate.

Yes it is dangerous for democracy if a Judiciary become puppet of the government.

BUT WHY ALWAYS SO MUCH NEGATIVITY ?

It looks as if the disgruntled judges haven't given up slandering the CJI and venting their frustration.

Agreed 100 % with this message. Now my questions;
1.Why no morality issues raised when a 92 year old Senior Advocate was paid 3 crores as fee by Delhi Government to handle defamation case ? Are these law practitioners, practitioner of law or money minting industries ? Not even one voice from any corner...
2.A Senior Advocate who won JayLalita's disproportionate assets case in High Court was made Supreme Court Judge where as Supreme Court rejected the order of High Court. As a laymen a question is " Should Collegioum consider those name ,found defending corrupt, for promotion to Supreme Court...

The government should step in only when the judiciary is going out of it's way and becomes a law unto themselves.

But under ordinary circumstances, judiciary - especially the Apex court can be given benefit of doubt.

Campaigns like this ( the four judge press conference and congress party jumping into it and Raja meeting Chalameshwar etc) will make the citizens lose hope in the last bastion of democracy.

The criteria for selection of Justice for ApexCourt is that he should be Chief Justice of any High Court. Accordingly, many time , political patronage play an important role in selection of judges. The judges who enjoy political patronage and has no scope to become Chief Justice of High Court till Chief Justice retired are transferred to other High courts to become Chief Justice at the earliest and to become eligible for the selection of Justice of Apex Court at a later stage. This is going on for years.
