by on Apr 02, 2018 03:26 PM

Who is responsible for this. Why this crocodile tears. Who does not know who are playing the tricks to avoid debate.Disruptions of Parliament by some parties who are members of NDA or supporters of is seems to be stage fixwd. If they arte sincere, they can verywell remove the shouting MPs by the security guard and can go for discussion.Of course by not having debate on parliament PM can put the blame on opposition. It is a political game by he government fooling people.

these distruptions were stage managed. the lok sabha speaker did nothing to reprimand these slogan shouting MPs. why would she. her boss in the party told her to enjoy the show. PM modi was never there. the speaker herself broke many parliament rules. the party that boasted to bring in healthy traditions failed miserably. they failed the nation in the process. they have brought in a dangerous precedant in the process. that you can hold the entire parliament to ransom with just managing the spaeaker and a few slogan shouting MPs. how is the BJP different from the congress which closed the doors of the parliament to the entire world ( switched off the direct broadcast) to break a state in the most ignominious manner. Shame on Modi giving sermons on floor of the rajya sabha while his party men break every rule of propriety in the lok sabha. modi lost the right to rule. so has the bjp and congress.

Who is the responsible?
by KRISHNA KUMAR on Mar 28, 2018 06:03 PM  | Hide replies

You and your Govt are responsible for that one. Your Govt. is failed to take appropriate action against the members in Loksabha and Rajyasabha, where your people encouraged for disruption of both the Sabhas for more than 15 days intentionally to escape from the No Confidence Motion. Speaker can call the agitated members giving assurance to talk about their state demands or else punish the members sent from sabha through mashalls. Very funny, nothing has done with an aim of wasting the precious parliament time and ultimately result is negative. Wonder to see them, What a political leaders we are having.

Reality -- the Centre is Scared Stiff

This Central govt is afraid of the NC motions, simply because its MALICE, MISDEEDS, and non-performance will stand STARCLY EKSPOZD in the discussions resulting from the NC motions.

There are so MANY SUCH SCARY ISSUES for the BJP, including deliberate injustice to AP, bank scams, unemployment.

On one hand, they claim, they're "ready for any debate"

On the other hand, they are unable (claim to be unable) to give a placatory response to one single party (AIADMK) on one single issue (delay in setting up Cauvery Board).

The sad truth is, the Centre is scared of so many things:

--Any assurance on Cauvery Board will affect BJPs chances in Karnataka

--Any discussion on AP will EKSPOZ not only their LIES, NOT only their DELIBERATE MALICE, but also the fact that THEY OWE MUCH MUCH MORE to AP than they've been showing in their budgets, statements on borrowings, and other financial reports.

--Any discussion on employment will EKSPOZ the govt on their Achche Din promises.

In short, and debate arising from the NC motions will severely cripple the BJP's chances in both LS elections and Assembly elections.

IF they are unable to placate AIADMK, at least let the Parliament continue without adjournment, until the SHOUTING MEMBERs run out of steam. Why adjourn within 15 minutes?

Clearly, they're scared.

Perhaps, they've some dark deal with AIADMK for continuing this shouting scene, promising AIADMK something in return (after Karnataka elections, of course)

Wrong notion, Modi is not afraid of any indisciplined politician. Our system permits all such nuisance to be tolerated. SC and EC enjoy all these.

@arungopal agarwal:

My suggestion was not to take disciplinary action against the disruptors.

The disruption in LS is by a single party -- AIADMK

The AIADMK are voicing just one issue -- delay in setting up Cauvery Board.

For some SINISTER reason, the AIADMK prefers to voice the issue through shouting rather than through a NC Motion (secret deal with govt to continue shouting?)

If the Centre is REALLY INTERESTED in functioning of LS, they have two options:

--Let the MPs shout until they run out stamina and steam (remember it's about 10 days now)

--Speak to AIADMK and provide them a satisfactory assurance on Cauvery Board (its not as complicated an issue as, for example, percentage of water share, or the AP injustice).

No such simple solutions are being pursued.

Instead, LS is being adjourned WITHIN 15 minutes, so the AIADMK MPs can go home, get necessary rest and refreshment, and come back the next day rejuvenated.

Isn't the govt's game obvious?

Members of Parliament
by ramesh dikshit on Mar 28, 2018 04:06 PM  | Hide replies

It is regretted that the members of Parliament do not understand their responsibility and behave rudely. In stead of stopping the work of the parliament, they should encourage and allow the members to discuss and allow debate on all important issues. By stopping the functioning of parliament, they have proved that they unfit to be there and next time, people should elect right persons and not rubber stamps. Right or wrong, they toe the party line and do as per guidance of Pappu. By this only we, that is general public are at loss , as Government has spent crores of money on these MP to go and work for their welfare but they have done nothing. Time has come when we should question these people who consider them as VVVIP do nothing but take all privilages.

@ramesh dikshit:

The disruption is coming from a single pary -- AIADMK

AIADMK is voicing only one issue -- delay in setting up Cauvery Board.

Can't the govt reach out to that one single party, and give one satisfactory response?

The fact is, the govt wants these disruptions to continue.

Simply because it stands to lose a lot of the people's confidence across the nation, the moment the NC Motions come up for discussion, and their MISDEEDs, MALICE, and MEDIOCRITY will get UNRAVELLED SLOWLY-SLOWLY, in GRAPHIC DETAIL
