PM Trip Expenses
by trichy madhavan sridharan on May 07, 2018 08:35 AM

You will get heart attack on receiving the expenses / bill and hence not to be shared.
after becoming politician their way is - you only pay taxes and don't ask questions to us. We enjoy and we do nothing to improve common man life and neither not feel guilty and we still demand more perks in job for which new taxes will be made and new cess will be made permanently. There is no highlight to reduce costs in budget even in departments which wastes public money and where clearly something could be done to save, but for increased expenses new taxes are made to cover.

'Why is the prime minister not transparent?'

He is not transparent in his personal life too. He wants only name, fame, power and followers who say 'yes sir'. Least bothered about India. More at home in foreign countries. Baba Ramdev is one of his ardent disciples. He makes sub-standard products and sells to the innocent people despite failing in standard tests by authorised institutions. But for Modi's patronage, he could not have come up thus far.

Prime Minister Modi

Being the Prime Minister, he has to have a certain self esteem - cost no bar - poor Indians will foot ll bills spent on his tours in and out of the country - special plane, crew, limousines, guests, etc. That is known as modigiri.

Why is there double standards
by b g on May 02, 2018 08:27 PM  | Hide replies

Well the government is keen to dig out money from common man with the help of GST, Adhar, Demonetization. We also expect some one leading the country to be in the same standard set by them. There is nothing wrong in disclosing the expenses made by the PMO and also what we have got in return due to numerous expensive trips made.

I am not sure whether previous governments' expenses were disclosed. The people accuses GST without knowing what GST is.

Travel Expenditure of PM
by on Apr 30, 2018 05:30 PM  | Hide replies

I do not find any rational in asking for the travel expenditure of PM. It is tax-payers money in any case, whether PMO pays or Air-India bears. What is the message to be conveyed? Is PM going on Holiday?

It may not be rational to you but it may be rational to Commodore Lokesh Batra.

RTI allows him to ask this question and there is no reason why the expenditure amount cannot be disclosed to an RTI applicant.

World trotting PM

There is nothing much to show for any gains in terms of foreign investments, empolyment creation or improvement in relations. He goes out of our nation and critises his opponents as if they are antinationals without realising that he is harming national dignity at the expenses of cheap publicity for himself

PM's visit to foreign countries is always for a noble cause. So the citizens cannot question his visit.
