actually rajya sabha should be demolished and put only Lok Sabha wherein the elected members from indian people casted their votes to elect the members to rule this country but unfortunately it is our bad luck we are voting to several regional parties andthey made mesh of this country. it is better during 2019 only two national parties rule and totally demolish the rajsabha due to this economy will improve and govt should save income tax payers money. but it cant do it because it is in constituency and cannot change that book if we change it will hurt to dalit community in the name of DR Ambedkar so india is helpless country from the cast isms and reservation. if it is stopped no country will come up like India in economy, development, employment, education, healthcare, rural areas, power, water and many more but who will care this we want only politics in each and every subject. live it it is waste to communicaate.

Agree with your view. The Upper house members are political appointee and those who has no capacity to Parliament election are nominated to them by the political parties they are attached to. The Lower house which represent elected representative of the people should be given more importance and power and the bills passed by this elected representatives be never allowed to be halted by the nominated representatives.The Upper house is called the house of elders butlast four sessions has clearly shown that how this elders misbehave and stop the working of the house. As per the constitution the system of nominating members to Upper house will continue for a long long time. However state should nominate members of their state only so they can look after the problems of the state to whom they represent. For example Dr Manmohansingh was nominated by Congress for more than 10 years from Assam where they never stayed and rarely visited the state. There are many such example in all the parties . The members who get full allowance and other perks be forced to attend minimum number of sessions unlike people like Rekha and Tendulkar whowere absent for the most of the time and their contribution to the house was Zero.
